Review

My thoughts after finishing this book:
1. Damn, this book is hot!
2. Creighton – you’ve a sex-crazed, possessive caveman of epic proportions, yet I adore you
3. Holly – OMG, seriously?
4. I’m hopelessly addicted to the outrageousness that is this story!
5. DAMN, THIS BOOK IS HOT!

This is the second instalment in the Dirty Billionaire trilogy of novellas, and things are starting to develop!

After the dramatic ending of the first book, Creighton is on a mission to find his new wife and bring her home.

“Holly, this is your fucking husband. Where the fuck are you? And if you think you’re fucking done with me, you’re dead wrong, sweetheart. Better get ready, because I’m fucking coming for you.”

Yep, he’s a man on a mission, and that mission sees him tracking Holly down on tour, apologising for his mistake and reclaiming his bride in the only way he knows how…

“You’re going to go bend over the end of the bed spread your legs, and I’m going to spank that tight little ass and your naughty little c**t before I fuck you so hard, you’ll still be feeling me tomorrow when you step onstage.”

Hot and not a little bit dirty, that quote pretty much sums up Creighton in the bedroom (and out of it). But don’t feel bad for Holly, because she clearly loves it.

“Kiss me. Mark me. Let him know that I’m absolutely and completely out of his reach because I belong to you.”

In all of his possessive glory, Creighton joins Holly on tour and while watching her live out her dream, the two of them grow closer and there’s a nice amount of emotional development as they begin to realise what they are truly coming to feel for each other.

”I don’t want to be treated as an afterthought…”
“You’re not an afterthought. Jesus Christ, Holly. When you look at me like that, you’re my only fucking thought.”

But of course, neither of them say the actual words out loud, and instead we get lots of this…

“I’m staring at the woman I’m in love with—that’s right, fucking in love with—and in the space of a heartbeat, I realize she doesn’t feel the same way about me. Maybe she never will.”

“Hope is a dangerous thing, and when it comes to Creighton, I’m terrified to gamble everything. This man has the power to wreck me.”

*sigh*

There’s more sex, more drama, more secrets revealed, and more stupid behaviour that left me feeling the need to smack Holly, but it’s another highly entertaining ride, I’m falling more and more for Creighton, and I’m really looking forward to diving into the next book to see how the story ends.

3 stars.
