Hitched: Volume Two by Kendall Ryan picks up after the cliffhanger from the first book. Olivia is gone and Noah feels betrayed. When Olivia comes back to Noah with a problem she can’t fix on her own, he jumps in and helps her. Things seem to get back on track and they finally sign the marriage contract.

Together, Olivia and Noah make a great team. They have a great business partnership and a good friendship, but they still haven’t blurred the line to something more. The banter between Noah and Olivia resumes and the sexual tension is thick in the air while they try to get the business back in the green. Noah wants more with Olivia but she’s hesitant to take that next step, one that would change everything. And there is another clause in the contract of which Olivia is unaware. What will happen when Noah brings up the subject?

But once again, a shadow falls over my thoughts. I’m still hiding the truth from her. I don’t know how she’ll react, how to explain things in a way that protects both her feelings and the company. And as long as I’m deceiving her, I can never have the true connection I’m craving.

Just as Noah and Olivia settle into the new part of their relationship, Noah messes up big time and sends Olivia running. With betrayal in her eyes, how will he ever earn her trust again?

I loved how Noah wanted more with Olivia and though he was a big flirt he never pushed her into doing anything she didn’t want to do. I liked his fun personality and how he treated Olivia sweetly even with the dirty mouth of his.

Olivia pushes Noah away more than I would like and I am glad she finally decides to give into her wants. With Noah’s help, she discovers there is so much more than mediocre sex. She is still holding onto her fairytale dream but is willing to play the part of Noah’s wife for a while. I wonder when she will realize that her Prince Charming may be the one she’s already married to. I also like that she is a strong woman who knows the business world and is not afraid to voice her opinion.

Hitched: Volume Two is another quick read that also leaves you with a cliffhanger. I need Hitched: Volume Three now to see how Noah gets out of the hot water he is in.
