Review

One word for this book – FUN. I don’t remember ever laughing so much while reading a book as I did while reading this one.

You know that fantastic feeling you get when you put on a great, familiar action / comedy movie and turn off your brain just to sit back and enjoy it. Well this is it in book form.

The cast of characters returning from book 1 is just awesome, with some sensational newbies introduced in this one, and the antics of the women in this book had me in hysterics!  The bitch smack-down in the bookstore had me in tears of laughter, all of the girls dressed up in spangles and big hair “we almost couldn’t fit all of our hair in the the car but luckily we were wearing fewer clothes so it balanced out“, and the classic moment for me when Eddie and Lee pulled up to the traffic lights right next to Jet and Indy when they’d been up to no good. I could just picture it!!  Absolute GOLD!

Yeah Jet was a bit annoying at times but, insecurities aside, I loved watching her character develop some attitude. As Mace put it – “Babe, wacthing you these past months has been like watching a flower bloom”. Ah swoon… and he isn’t even her love interest!!! By the way, how gorgeous are these Nightingale boys!!! Can’t wait for Mace’s book.

Oh, and one more word – HOT!! Eddie Chavez, oh yeah! One very hot Alpha male. I liked him in book 1, I LOVE him in his own story. Knowing KA I’m sure I’ll get to see him again and watch the progression of things between him and Jet, and I can’t wait!
