3.5 filthy stars

This book picks up right where Dirty Girl left off with that devastating cliffy. Greer Karas had rekindled her relationship with the one man she always wanted – now-famous Hollywood star, Cavanagh Westman. But a devastating bomb was dropped at the end of the last book proving that she didn’t know Cav as well as she thought. Now, she has been whisked away by her big brother, billionaire Creighton, while Cav regroups and plans to get his girl back…. Again.

She’s mine, and I’ll fight heaven and hell to keep her. The sins of the past may not stay buried where they belong, but I refuse to let them rule our future. No man will ever love her as much as I do.

Again, we are thrown right back into the intensity that is Cav and Greer together. Despite her very understandable trust issues, Greer is well aware of exactly what Cav means to her, so once they are reunited again and he lets her know once and for all that they belong together and that he has no intentions of letting her go, it’s all on. Cav brings Greer into his world, and she gets a taste of what a life with him would truly be like. She effortlessly slips into his LA lifestyle, but more than that, they get to explore their connection even more, and holy hell, the hotness between these two is insane!

The first book was filthy… this is even more so! The sex is explicit, intense and SO freaking hot. Definitely not a book you want to read in public! As if they weren’t steamy enough the first time around, this time Cav fully unleashes all of his previously leashed dominance and Greer meets him every step of the way. She’s open to everything he has to offer, and she revels in the sexual freedom and exploration that he offers.

Cav wraps one hand around the tangled strands and clenches it behind my head. I’m at his mercy, and yet I’ve never felt more powerful. The need in his eyes burns into me, and I want to give as much as I want to take.

It’s so, so dirty!

But the emotion between them is just as important as their insatiable sexual connection, and I love that Cav was so willing to put himself out there for his girl, determined to keep her in his life.

“She’s fucking beautiful. A goddess, and yet she’s kneeling at my feet. I don’t deserve this woman, but I won’t hesitate to take every advantage to ensure I can keep her in my life.”

I’m falling in love with her again. It isn’t the second time. Or the third. Or the fourth. With Greer, it seems to happen constantly.

But then even more secrets are revealed – these ones with the power to unravel everything they have found together. Will their bond be strong enough to survive?

“I’ll do whatever it takes. When you’re the prize, there’s no line I won’t cross”.

Meghan March has given us a great ending for Cav and Greer’s story. The passion between them is still very much alive and only gains in intensity, and with their feelings for each other deepening further, it makes a combustible combination! They have a lot to work through, but they do it functionally and without too much stupid (terrifying kidnapping notwithstanding), and I was really happy with the way they dealt with it all.

I really enjoyed this one. Hot, steamy, passionate and intense, it’s also fun with a great romance that is all-consuming yet believable to their situation. And did I mention it’s smutty? Definitely on the erotica end of the romance spectrum, this is a deliciously filthy read with a bit of kink, and will leave you fanning yourself at the hotness and grinning at the gorgeous ending. And do I detect a possible storyline for Banner? I would love more books!!!

A great read – 3.5 stars.
