Review

Let me describe this book in a few words – Vampire Academy, except with gods instead of vampires. Yep, the world, the characters, and even the storyline is pretty much identical. But I still loved it.

Alex is a sensationally kickass heroine, and she is balanced perfectly by the gorgeously heroic, protective and sexy good guy, Aiden. I just love him!!!!! But sadly with him being a pure blood offspring of the gods and Alex being a half, they are forbidden from being together. That doesn’t stop a little bit of (YA) steamy time and some hot kisses. But I foresee a complication with a dreaded love triangle. Looking forward to seeing how that all works out.

There are laughs, action and drama, all leading up to a nail-biting and brutally tragic ending that made me want to weep at the unfairness of it all. I can’t wait to read more.

A great start to what I hope will be a fantastic new series.
