Oh yeah! It’s smutty rockstar time!!!!

Eric Sticks, drummer for the Sinners. The joker of the band. The kinky one who likes to watch. But there is so much more to him than that, and I loved getting to know him. He has a strong love for music, composing a lot of the band’s songs, but is content to take a bit of a back seat. He also has a huge heart, and is ready and eager to open himself up to somebody.

From the second Eric lays eyes on the Sinners’ new Sound Engineer, Rebekah (Reb), he is smitten. I love Rebekah! A self-proclaimed “strong willed, sharp-minded, tough, independent, sensual creature”, she is also open about what she wants, and although she is attracted to Eric, she has a longstanding crush on Trey, and he is the one she wants. But Eric isn’t one to be dissuaded, and he makes his desires known.

I really felt for Eric, as Reb is a bit dismissive of him at first, and he knows that the object of his desire actually wants somebody else. But if there’s one thing these guys know how to do well, it’s sharing a woman *wink*, and with the boys on his side helping him out, it’s not long before Reb’s attraction to the hot drummer takes over everything else, and then it’s all on!

“Are you saying good-bye or what?” Sed ased gruffly.
“Nope, we were making out,” Rebekah said. “His sexiness overwhelms me sometimes, and I have to kiss him.”

And when I say that, I mean IT’S ALL ON!!! Anywhere, everywhere, anytime, anyhow, Reb and Eric are at it! And hot dayum! They are amazing together! Both a bit quirky, they have a lot of fun together, and with their scorching chemistry, their connection is undeniable and things move quickly. It’s pretty much insta-love (pretty freaking close anyway), but I was happy to go with it and enjoy the ride with them.

“He planned to keep her around for a while. Like an eternity, or something a bit longer.”

“You’re like Mr. Romance and Mr. Porn Star wrapped in one.”

What I love most about them is the absolute honesty between them. They both have issues to overcome in the bedroom, as well as deeper things happening in their lives, and at all times, they share everything, and work things out together, and I loved that about them! It was so refreshing to have no lies, no secrets, and no game playing.

“Before I do something all stupid like fall in love with you, tell me exactly why you’re with me tonight”

But there is some sweet romance as well, both of them are free and open with their emotions, and even though it’s fast, their relationship is gorgeous. And Eric is beautifully swoony.

“What I won’t do is let you give up … You have to be the strong one. All I can do is hold your hand and stand beside you. “

There is a little bit of stupid, but it’s minimal and resolved fairly quickly, and I loved seeing Eric get all possessive over his girl. Although it did annoy me how quickly Reb forgave Isaac for everything that he did!.

“Eric, this is Isaac. A dear, dear friend.”
Isaac looked none too happy to be called her friend. Eric extended his hand. “I’m Eric, Rebekah’s very possessive boyfriend.”
Isaac’s eyes widened.
“And lover,” Eric added. “We get it on constantly.”

There’s actually not a lot of story going on in this one compared to other books in the series, and it seems like Olivia Cunning has filled in the gaps with a WHOLE heap of sex! Dayum! We even get a little preview of Trey in m/m action… again!

Again, with most of the action taking place on the Sinners’ tour bus, there is a lot of time spent with the boys, and I loved every minute of it!! Not only do we get to check in with each of the other couples, but Brian has a big moment of his own that left me with a big goofy smile on my face. Trey also gets a bit of story time, and though I was surprised by some of his antics, I thought it all tied in really well.

I am so glad I waited to read these books in order. Having seen each of the boys fall one by one, Trey’s story has been building up over the previous books, and I’m happy that he is the one to finish off the series, and can’t wait to get to his story.

I really enjoyed Eric and Reb’s story. They are great characters, and they are great together. While I found the sex a little OTT at times, there is just enough depth to their relationship to stop the book from becoming an all-out pure smut fest… just 😉

“The past can’t be changed … The future can’t be predicted. All we really have is the present.”

4 stars.
