“Author Note
Warning: This book contains mildly inappropriate everything.

Hell yeah, it does! And I loved it. 4.5 stars!

I love Jay McLean, so as soon as I discovered this book I had to start is straight away. I started reading it during my lunchbreak at work, and loved it so much that I couldn’t put it down and continued to sneak read at my desk until I had finished it (thankfully, it’s a novella). OMG, so very inappropriate, and it was so hard not to bust out laughing, but I literally could not stop!

This book is SO freaking funny! Written entirely from the male perspective, it is crude, smutty, and so, so wrong, but it also has a beautiful friends-to-lovers romance that adds a nice amount of heart.

With their fraternity short on funds, frat Prez, Tyler West, throws out the idea of running a secret escort service – strictly aimed away from campus and towards bored and horny housewives who wouldn’t tell a soul. A few years later and Boy Toy Corporation is in full swing.

Tyler’s stories of his escort experience are hot, and a bit weird (there’s an honest-to-God dildo fight!), but mainly they’re absolutely hilarious.

She looks up now, her big brown eyes coated with tears. “You’ll be gentle with me?”
I return her nod and kiss her on the lisp. Just once. “Promise, Mrs Fletcher. I’ll make love to you. Like you want me to. And I’ll hold you tight, baby, all through the night…or…you know…at least until your time’s up.”

And the banter between the frat boys who are in on the scheme had tears streaming down my face! Questions about “pop outs”, women with fat fingers, and wannabe dominatrixes are all discussed openly and without shame, and it creates a great sense of camaraderie between the boys.

But there is a softer side to all of the crudeness. Tyler has a huge heart, and that comes across in his dealings with some of his clients, and I liked getting to see the sweet side of him. But nothing is more gorgeous than seeing him with his best friend since childhood, Allie. Seeing Tyler be all caring and super-protective with her was absolutely beautiful and I loved the dynamic between them. And when they finally start to own up to the feelings they have kept hidden for years, it gets all kinds of swoony (but still crude, and funny as all hell).

This was SUCH a fun read! Like I said, it’s a quick one, but Jay McLean manages to tell a great story that was highly entertaining and left me with a huge grin on my face. This is a fantastic bunch of characters, and I can’t wait for more stories from this bunch of guys.

I have a cape.
Because I’m motherfucking Batman.

4.5 stars.
