Holy freaking sizzle, this is a short and steamy little read!

I really liked it. The intensity of Ethan and Brynne’s attraction is unmistakable, leading to a whole heap of hotness!!! Their relationship develops quickly, but hey, it’s a novella and that’s to be expected.

Brynne is a likeable character and the story is from her POV (except for the Prologue which is from Ethan). I like that she isn’t afraid to follow her heart and take a chance on Ethan, and that she was honest enough not to play games with him. I love their text messages, and flirty banter, and I LOVE Ethan and his sexy, controlling swooniness. He is uber confident, and makes no apologies for how he feels about Brynne. He wants her badly, and isn’t shy about it, but he’s also incredibly gentle and caring with her. Both have traumas in their past, which are only hinted at, but Ethan is hiding something from her which leads to one helluva cliffhanger.

Looking forward to book 2!

“Oh, we’re well past you being just a date, my beauty.” He leaned in, his lips at my ear. “When we fucked in my bed you passed into uncharted territory – trust me on that one.”
