4 stars!

The finale to Meghan March’s Mount trilogy brings a surprising, exciting, passionate and romantic end to Mount and Keira’s story, and I couldn’t put it down!

After the heart-stopping ending of the last book, we are thrown right back into all of that intensity, and I couldn’t wait to see how it was all going to play out. And with everything on the line for Mount and Keira, they finally give in to all that they are feeling, fully accepting that what is between them is so much more than either of them anticipated, and everything is changing.

Life taught me not to get attached to a single fucking thing, because nothing in this world is permanent. Everything is temporary. I no longer accept that when it comes to her.

I loved seeing the shift in this relationship. It’s swoony and passionate, but still with an edge of badassery on both parts, and I loved delving further into both of these characters as they open themselves up even further, while still remaining true to themselves. And they’re so accepting of it! There’s no hiding or game playing, they acknowledge their feelings, they don’t fight it, and they just go with it, and I LOVE that! But their world is a dangerous place – there are secrets and surprises, and a few shocks along the way, but it all combines to create a captivating read.

She’s mine. She’s staying mine. Even my black heart couldn’t handle losing her. I will keep her safe with my very last breath, if necessary.

Meghan March has the ability to throw you into a fast-paced, incredibly intense relationship and make you feel it, and she’s done that again here. Mount and Keira didn’t have the most conventional of beginnings, and though the development of their relationship was quick, it felt natural and right for them, and in their world of chaos and torment, they stood strong and kicked ass, and I loved seeing it all happen.

A King has the most value, but without a Queen, he’s a hell of a lot less powerful. Together, they have the best chance of victory.

I really enjoyed this trilogy. It’s dark and intense, smart and sexy, but ultimately it’s a gorgeous love story, and I loved the journey. This is a great finish to Mount and Keira’s story.

4 stars.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I haven’t read Obsession, but I’ve seen it on Goodreads. I’ll definitely have to check it out, thanks!
