Review

God, I love these brothers, just love them. Must confess I have a very soft spot for V (and Rhage… but let’s not get started down that track). He was very much a background character until the last book (Lover Revealed), and that’s where my obsession started. Such a sarcastic, snarky, tormented soul (*swoon*). I loved getting his backstory, which is absolutely horrific, and finally getting to see the true darkness behind the most mysterious of the brothers.

But things really change for him when he encounters Jane. I love Jane, she’s a great character, and their relationship is amazing. Pretty much any time they started up their banter I had a huge smile on my face and my heart started beating just a little bit faster. And then there’s the hotness. Damn! V’s unique ‘interests’ prove to be therapeutic for them both, opening them up and bringing them closer in a very intimiate way. Their story broke my heart at times – seeing V fall in love, exposing his vulnerabilities and suffering like he does is brutal! I was desperate for him to find happiness.

“I love you. And I’m going to keep loving you even after you don’t know I exist.”

And thank God he gets it! Sure the whole Jane-in-the-end thing was weird, but they still got the HEA so I’m happy with that.

The other great thing about this book – no Lesser POV, thank God! I happily read through every word of this book without skimming anything.

And as always the banter between the boys is a highlight. Whether they are joking around or seriously pissed off, I just love it.

This series is like crack! Cannot stop, cannot get enough!

5 massive stars!

Now to go and get me some Phury!
