PNR Series Reading Order: Demonica / Lords of Deliverance by Larissa Ione

This is probably my favourite PNR series of all time.  It’s definitely the one that I’ve read the most, having enjoyed many, many rereads. The world is so all-encompassing – humans, demons, vampires and werewolves, all inter-breeding, creating an underworld full of purebreeds and hybrids, all with their own powers, behaviours and politics. The characters are absolutely sensational, and the blend of action, drama, excitement, laugh-out-loud sarcastic snark and hot, hot romance is perfection!

The series starts off with the Demonica books before spinning off into the Lords of Deliverance books – which are set in the same world and continues the main storyline but focuses on a different set of characters.  And then come the Demonica Underworld books which tie in to both the Demonica and Lords of Deliverance series.  I would absolutely recommend reading these books in the published order (see full Reading Order below) because it’s a complicated story with one continuous timeline and everything (including characters) is cleverly interwoven.

And then there is the Demonica Birthright series, which tells the story of the next generation – still very much within this world and dealing with the consequences of all that went down in the original books. Have a look at our Family Tree to see how all of the characters tie together.

Please note that the novellas of the series aren’t a must-read, but I’ve added them anyway because if you love this series as much as I do, you’ll want every scrap you can get!

I sincerely hope you give this series is a go.  It’s an intense but fun read, and definitely worth a shot for paranormal lovers.
