This is a really sweet read. A follow on from the wonderful A Pound of Flesh<\/a>, it allows us the opportunity to catch up with Kat and Carter, seeing them together, happy and very much in love, and further adjusting to their new life together.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cPeaches\u2026You have me. You always have.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There\u2019s nothing ground-breaking that happens in this novella, it\u2019s more of an extended epilogue, but there\u2019s something really gorgeous about seeing these two characters together. They are so in sync with each other, so in love, and so incredibly passionate, I really enjoyed catching up with them.<\/p>\n

\nKat nodded. \u201cI know. That\u2019s why I\u2019m marrying you.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There\u2019s a bit of an introduction for Max\u2019s book up next. The boy has some pretty big demons, and I\u2019m really looking forward to diving into his story.<\/p>\n

Not a must-read, but still enjoyable for fans of the first book.<\/p>\n
