5 SENSATIONAL STARS<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not going into too much detail about this book because I don’t want to spoil anything, you just need to dive in and experience it – but wow, this book was absolutely perfect! Emotional, intense, suspenseful, sweet, funny and romantic, it was everything I wanted and more!<\/p>\n

We met Clare in Retrieval<\/a>, and this book picks up right from that final, breathtaking scene, with her story now becoming the focus \u2013 though Roman and Elisabeth still remain a central part of the book. Clare absolutely blew me away in this book. After living through hell, the strength and bravery she shows at coming out with both her body and her sanity intact, is amazing. She stands tall, but still reaches out for help when she needs it, and then finds the courage to push forward and hold nothing back in claiming her HEA. She is a wonderful heroine, and I absolutely love her!<\/p>\n

Her smile was one of the world\u2019s best-kept secrets, because if any man experienced on, they would wage wars to hold on to it. It was life changing.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And a wonderful heroine needs an incredible hero, and Aly Martinez totally delivered on that. Protective, strong and alpha, but also gentle, tender and beautifully romantic, this is one committed man! He has the biggest heart, and the way he goes about pretty much everything in this book was absolutely perfect!<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m scared,\u201d I whispered, not sure what else to say.
\n\u201cI\u2019ve got you.\u201d He nuzzled his jaw against the side of my face. \u201cI swear on my life I\u2019ve got you.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And together, they are sensational! Passionate, sexy, full of chemistry and breathtakingly romantic, they also have fun together, laughing and enjoying each other, holding nothing back from each other. It was beautiful to read, and I revelled in every moment of them together.<\/p>\n

Of course, Roman and Elisabeth are a big part of the story, and we finally see the outcome of all of that build up from Retrieval<\/i>. I had no clue how it was all going to play out, but I thought it was done beautifully. So heartfelt and emotional, I had tears streaming down my face more than once. That element of suspense is still there, and there are still hurdles to overcome and a few heart-stopping moments that had me clutching my kindle, but I couldn\u2019t have dreamed up a better way for this book to end.<\/p>\n

Once again, Aly Martinez proves why she is an auto-buy author for me. She has created an emotionally intense read that is full of suspense, romance and humour, with not one but two love stories, and it all blends together effortlessly. Beautifully written with lots of heart, this duet is something truly special.<\/p>\n
