Everyone knows that I am a sucker for forbidden romances, so this one was right up my alley and it did not disappoint. This sweet, sexy, swoony, funny read grabbed me from the beginning and left me with the biggest smile on my face.<\/p>\n

        Attraction can turn ordinarily sensible men and women into single-minded hunters, silly fools, and sometimes into lucky lovers.
        \nWhen the feeling is mutual, most of the time everyone is happy…
        \nBut sometimes, attraction is unrequited, and sometimes we don’t even admit it exists.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

        Abby Becker is best friends with Harper, from Mister O<\/a><\/em>. She has spent the last seven months as a nanny to an adorable five-year-old girl named Hayden. Things are going great but Abby has a secret. She has a major crush on Simon, Hayden’s father, and there isn\u2019t a thing she can do about it.<\/p>\n

        Simon Travers is one sexy man. He is the complete package. Smart, gorgeous, kind, hardworking, funny, and a wonderful father, Simon would make any woman want him and he does. But its not just any woman he wants, it\u2019s Abby.<\/p>\n

        The sexual tension is thick and the chemistry is scorching. When they can’t deny it any longer it’s a frenzy of touching and kissing and they are unable to get enough of each other. What will be the cost of making their forbidden relationship work?<\/p>\n

        I absolutely love the way Lauren Blakely writes her male point of views. She’s a natural at it and creates lovable, relatable heroes along side her fantastic heroines. I loved getting inside Simon’s head and reading his way of thinking. Getting both sides of the story gave me a full picture, and Abby and Simon were written perfectly. They were great individually but were wonderful together as well.<\/p>\n

        Even with the eight-year age difference, Abby and Simon are perfect for each other. I loved their easy conversation, flirty banter, and goofy interactions. The sexual tension was through the roof and well written. I completely felt their desires along with the connection and couldn\u2019t wait until they did something about it. They also complimented each other well even though they are at different points in their life.<\/p>\n

        I really enjoyed Abby. Her honesty and slightly awkward comments made me smile and her overall fun personality made me want to be her friend. I loved that she did not play games with Simon and there wasn\u2019t any unnecessary drama. I loved that she appreciated every interaction she had with him too. I adored the way she was with Hayden and her loyalty to those she cared about. She was smart and relatable, and I loved her quirks. She had such a big heart and loved helping people.<\/p>\n

        Simon was fantastic. He is the complete package, wonderful inside and out. There wasn’t a single thing that I didn’t love and he made me swoon with just about every he did and said. He was considerate, caring, and honest. I loved that he wasn\u2019t cocky about his looks or brains and that he was down to earth. I loved the way he cared about Abby. Even before the possibility of being with her, he treated her wonderfully and cared about her. I loved the way he expressed his feelings and the interactions with Abby that may not mean anything to others but meant everything to him. I also\u00a0loved\u00a0Simon’s relationship with his daughter. He is so involved in her life, was a very hands-on father, and was\u00a0interested in what she was up to all the time. Every scene where they were together left me in a puddle of goo. He was just that amazing!<\/p>\n

        I loved just about everything about The Sexy One. \u00a0Lauren Blakely’s writing flows effortlessly across the pages, captivating you from the beginning. Her gorgeous romantic comedies will make you laugh-out-loud and fall in love. This was true with Big Rock<\/a>, Mister O<\/a>,<\/em> and Well Hung<\/em><\/a>, so I am not sure why I am surprised that Lauren Blakely has managed to write another fantastic rom com for 2016! She wholeheartedly deserves the spot she occupies on my list of auto-buy authors and I can’t wait for Full Package and Joy Stick.<\/p>\n

        A grin threatens to take over my face because my heart soars. I thought he was turning me down. Instead, he was thinking of me. \u201cYou wouldn\u2019t have messed it up.\u201d<\/p>\n
