Thank you, thank you, thank you Colleen Hoover!!! This book is the PERFECT finish to Layken and Will\u2019s story. I couldn\u2019t have wished for better!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Holy freaking SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOON! I think Colleen may have created the perfect man. He\u2019s so gorgeous, I absolutely love him!<\/p>\n

This Girl<\/em>\u00a0picks up at the exact moment that\u00a0Point of Retreat\u00a0finishes, but actually goes back and tells the story of\u00a0Slammed\u2013 but from Will\u2019s POV. He and Layken are on their honeymoon, and are reminiscing back to the beginning of their relationship. There are gorgeous moments with them together in the present, intermingled with flashbacks to the past, getting Will\u2019s perspective on the big, key moments from\u00a0Slammed<\/em>\u00a0and it. is. phenomenal!<\/p>\n

\u201cI lie back on my pillow and think back to that day. The day that I fell for my wife.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I reread\u00a0Slammed<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Point of Retreat<\/em>\u00a0before reading this, and I\u2019m happy to say that it didn\u2019t feel repetitive at all. As well as seeing all of the main scenes that I wanted to see, there were also a few surprises – conversations that we hadn\u2019t seen, friendships that we didn\u2019t know about, and some extra scenes that all combine with the story that we know and love to give extra depth to Will and Lake\u2019s story, AND I LOVED IT!!<\/p>\n

\u201cShe deserves to be kissed by someone who loves her. Someone who spends every waking moment trying to do everything right by her. Someone who would rather die than see her hurt. She doesn’t deserve to be kissed by anyone other than me.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We get to see what happened immediately after the ending of\u00a0Slammed<\/em>\u00a0(like, immediately after, with some make-out action and further declarations of love in the car park), as well as some highlights of Will and Lake\u2019s first weeks together as an official couple. And then there is the epilogue, which takes us years beyond\u00a0Point of Retreat<\/em>\u00a0to give us a glimpse of the future, and it\u2019s freaking PERFECT!<\/p>\n

I butterflying ADORE this series! Colleen Hoover has given us an incredible story of two amazing characters finding their way to each other, and claiming their future, along with their self-made family. Having Will\u2019s perspective is like the icing on the cake, rounding out the whole thing and making the story more complete. And it is absolutely phenomenal.<\/p>\n
