5 “Baby Doll” Stars!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wow! Elle Kennedy has done it again! The Score is the third book in her Off Campus Series and another FIVE STAR read!! I loved both The Deal<\/em><\/a> and The Mistake<\/a><\/em> so it should be no surprise that I loved The Score<\/em> just as much!<\/p>\n

On the outside Allie and Dean seem like opposites. She likes being in a relationship and is not into casual sex. Dean is known for his wild, player ways and considered a manwhore by everyone.<\/p>\n

I like to fuck. I fuck a lot. So sue me.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He does not do relationships and rarely goes for seconds. This all changes after one night with Allie.<\/p>\n

Allie is fresh out of a relationship with her longtime boyfriend. The last thing on her mind is hooking up with someone. She doesn’t do one-night stands. Until she does. Now, Allie has gotten under Dean’s skin and he can’t seem to shake her. He is constantly thinking about her and has no desire to hook-up with anyone else.<\/p>\n

Apparently Little Dean isn\u2019t going to cooperate unless I give him what he wants. And what he wants, unfortunately, is not Kelly, Michelle and Kelly\u2019s twin sister. <\/em>
\nIt\u2019s Allie Hayes.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

After having the best night of his life, he knows he wants more of her, but Allie is not so sure.<\/p>\n

Maybe I\u2019m just a twenty-two year old woman who had some no-strings fun for once in her life. <\/em>
\nThe only problem is\u2014I like the strings. Sex and relationships go hand in hand for me.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As the story unfolds, we see that Allie and Dean are perfect together. They are honest and straightforward with what they want. Dean is an exhibitionist and though he first sees Allie as a “delicate flower,” she soon shows him she has a kinky side. They have great chemistry, their interactions are hilarious, and the banter is awesome.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, so here\u2019s our plan for tonight. First we\u2019ll bone down to take the edge off. Then we\u2019ll order a pizza and replenish our energy, and after that, round two. Sound good?\u201d<\/em>
\n…\u201cHave you considered seeing a psychiatrist about your delusions?\u201d I ask politely. \u201cBecause, sweetie, there\u2019s no chance in hell of us boning tonight.\u201d <\/em>
\n\u201cFine. How about we go down on each other instead?\u201d <\/em>
\n\u201cHow about you leave?\u201d <\/em>
\n\u201cCounter offer\u2014I stay and we dry hump.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Over time a real relationship forms and it’s not just sex anymore. We actually get to see Dean and Allie fall for each other as they try to accept how things have changed when it was only supposed to be a fling.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not sure I can do this anymore.\u201d <\/em>
\nFuck. <\/em>
\n\u201cIt\u2019s too confusing\u2026 sleeping with you when we\u2019re not actually together\u2014\u201d <\/em>
\n\u201cWe\u2019re together,\u201d I bite out. <\/em>
\nShe startles. \u201cWhat?\u201d <\/em>
\nIt feels like someone jammed a handful of gravel in my throat. I gulp through it. \u201cWe\u2019re together,\u201d I repeat. <\/em>
\nShe looks baffled. \u201cWe\u2026 why?\u201d <\/em>
\n\u201cBecause we are.\u201d …I can\u2019t explain why, but I just know I don\u2019t want this to fucking end. <\/em>
\n\u201cYou want\u2026\u201d The groove in her forehead deepens. \u201cYou want to be with me?\u201d <\/em>
\nMy heartbeat grows erratic… \u201cI want to be with you,\u201d I mumble. \u201cSo that means we\u2019re fucking together, okay?\u201d <\/em>
\nShaky laughter tickles my cheek. \u201cYou\u2019re freaking me out right now.\u201d <\/em>
\n\u201cI\u2019m freaking myself out.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I loved Dean and Allie together. Dean shows Allie a side to him that is no one else really sees. He is sweet, loyal and smart. Sometimes it’s hard to take a manwhore and reform him into a likable hero. Elle Kennedy did just that. He is also wonderful with the Hurricanes and I love that he finds something he finally loves doing.<\/p>\n

Just like the other two books in this series, The Score was hilarious. I found myself cracking up and laughing out loud on numerous occasions. Add in a hero worth swooning over, a fantastic heroine, awesome friends, several sweet moments, lots of steam, some angst, and things that have me crying ugly tears, and you have an all around great read. I have no doubt Elle Kennedy will write another great Off Campus book and I cannot wait to read Tucker’s story.<\/p>\n
