But with steamy texts, phone sex and unintentionally hilarious naked skype sessions, they are keeping the passion alive while they are apart. Banner’s time in NYC provides some twists in the story, but when she learns that Logan is being hounded by the desperately single women of his country town, she flies back to the place she has come to think of as ‘home’ to claim what is hers. And when they are reunited once again, things between them progress at great speed, which had the romance lover in me (as well as the dirty perve) revelling in the intensity that is these two together.

“You’re in love with me.”
“You’re the best man I’ve ever met, Logan Brantley. Of course I am.”

I love this relationship! It’s open, honest, and no-nonsense. They are completely functional together, not letting anything get in the way of their future together, and I love the lack of unnecessary drama. And they have so much fun together! These two are outrageously dirty and they have a great time with that – in and out of the bedroom, and HOT DAMN!

“I fucking love you, Banner.”
“I brought the lube,”
“You’re going to kill me, woman.”
“Only in the best way possible.”

The sexy time is frequent, explicit, and not a little bit dirty, and with Logan’s dirty mouth and Banner’s filterless ramblings, this book is hilariously crude and absolutely sizzling! But more than that, there is a gorgeous emotional connection that continues to deepen and grow in intensity, and I loved seeing them so loved up and happy together.

“You’re it for me, Banner. The one. I’d given up on finding the perfect woman for me, but you showed me I hadn’t been looking in the right place. Who knew I had to go all the way to New York City?”

Running alongside the romance is a mystery / suspense storyline. It’s blended well so that it doesn’t overpower the love story, but it adds a bit of excitement and intensity to the book. I also really liked the way that life in a gossip-driven country town was depicted. The town of Goldhaven is a great setting for the story, with the mystery element very closely linked to the townspeople, and its inhabitants and their quirky characteristics are wonderfully written.

Fans of Meghan’s previous work will love the glimpse of Holly and Creighton, and there’s also a hint that country star Boone Thrasher just might get his own book, and if he does, I will be all over that!

This is a great duet. Fun, sexy and romantic with no angst, no drama, and no stupid. It’s a really enjoyable read for those who like their humour a little bit on the dirty side – and the audiobook is fantastic.

I loved it – 4 stars.

The Real Duet

Real Good Man (#1)
Review
Buy: Kindle Ebook | Paperback

Real Good Love (#2)
Review
Buy: Kindle Ebook | Paperback

This series can be read independently, but it fits into Meghan’s other series. This is the reading order:

Dirty Billionaire Trilogy

Dirty Girl Duet

Real Duet

Real Dirty Duet

Check our our Meghan March Author Spotlight for more great reads from this author.

Buy: Kindle Ebook | Paperback Review 4 sexy, loved-up stars!
