This is a fun, sweet and sexy read that quickly sucked me in and kept me interested and entertained with great banter, fantastic chemistry and a gorgeously developing love story. A friends-to-lovers story that is also a room-mate romance with a best-friend\u2019s-brother set up, this is a great mix of romantic tropes and a quick and easy read, and I loved it!<\/p>\n

Cannon Roth is a 24 year old medical student. He is a magnet for psycho clinger girlfriends who fall at his feet the moment he beds them, so he has sworn off relationships \u2013 even those of the \u2018friends with benefits\u2019 kind. He is dedicated to making a success of his career and has decided that it\u2019s anonymous one night stands or nothing.<\/p>\n

Paige is a smart, sensible 28 year old who has her life together, although hasn\u2019t been able to find love, and her life is quiet and somewhat lonely. When her BFF calls to ask for a favour, of course she agrees, only to get talked into allowing her friend\u2019s younger brother to rent out the spare room in her house. Paige knows Cannon, they grew up together and were good friends \u2013 even though he\u2019s four years younger than her – but it\u2019s been years since she\u2019s seen him, and she\u2019s not exactly happy about giving up her privacy, especially to a geeky med student. And then Cannon rocks up on her doorstep, and is about to turn her lonely life upside down.<\/p>\n

My best friend\u2019s little brother wasn\u2019t so little anymore. And he\u2019d just marched into my life, turning my girly bits into warm, aroused mush.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Cannon crushed badly on Paige when he was younger \u2013 she was the star of all of his pubescent fantasies, and when these two meet up again now as adults, it\u2019s very clear that the attraction is still very much there, but now it\u2019s two-way.<\/p>\n

The chemistry between Cannon and Paige sizzles off the page. But Cannon has been turned off relationships, and Paige knows he\u2019s only in town for two months until he moves to complete his residency. It\u2019s a situation that has impossible written all over it. But when Cannon confesses his romantic woes to Paige, and the fact that any woman he sleeps with falls madly in love with him, she decides to prove him wrong. And that\u2019s when the fun begins.<\/p>\n

Allie\u2019s little brother fucked like a porn star. That wasn\u2019t a piece of knowledge I\u2019d ever recover from. Shit!<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From the very beginning it\u2019s clear that what these two have is more than just lust. They have a strong friendship, and they genuinely care about each other, and the sex just builds on that. It\u2019s hot, intense, and opens the door to feelings that neither of them were expecting, and they know that once is never going to be enough.<\/p>\n

This book is lots of fun. The dynamic between Cannon and Paige is fantastically entertaining, the romance is playful, super sexy and beautifully emotional, and their relationship felt natural and believable. I totally fell for Cannon and all of his sweet, thoughtful hotness, and I really liked how their story progressed. There is some stupid drama that could have been completely avoided with a simple conversation, but though it was annoying it creates a nice sense of intensity to the story as Paige and Cannon figure themselves out and find the courage to reach out and claim it.<\/p>\n

Sometimes there are no second chances. Sometimes it\u2019s now or never.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I really enjoyed this one, and am looking forward to more from this series.<\/p>\n
