I am a huge fan of this series, and have been eagerly awaiting the release of this book. Dylan has been such a mysterious part of the group, and I couldn\u2019t wait for the chance to get to know him better. Up until now the strong and silent type, Dylan shows that he is deeply feeling, effortlessly charming, and has a wicked sense of humour, and I can now say that he has become a firm favourite. I\u2019ll keep the mystery by not revealing who his heroine is, but I will say that OMG this is one amazing love story!<\/p>\n

The story begins with both Dylan and his heroine at rock bottom. She is dealing with a devastating tragedy, and he has been injured in Afghanistan and sent home to recuperate. They are both struggling to deal with real life, and are lost in grief, guilt and anger at their circumstances, and it\u2019s all of those feelings that bring them together. Just being together, not talking, not dealing with the past, is enough to bring both of them a sense of calm, and they are drawn together in a way that neither of them can deny.<\/p>\n

\nHis smile reaches his eyes. \u201cWe can\u00a0<\/em>be\u00a0whatever you want \u2026 As long as I\u2019m with you.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Of course as time goes by, they open up to each other and things start to change, and it\u2019s a beautiful journey for them as they drag each other out of their despair and heartache and into a new life together. And it\u2019s not only emotional and beautifully romantic, but it\u2019s also funny with lots of jokes, teasing and great banter. The way they come together is gorgeously heart-warming with a nice amount of sexy time, and I adored every single moment of it.<\/p>\n

No, it\u2019s not Heidi, and honestly, I\u2019m glad. As much as I love a second-chance-romance, after secrets revealed in the last book, I didn\u2019t want them back together. Dylan\u2019s past with Heidi is addressed, as is their break up (and it\u2019s handled very well), and it very quickly becomes evident that their relationship wasn\u2019t as perfect as it may have seemed, and Dylan definitely needs to move on.<\/p>\n

What I had wasn\u2019t enough.
\nI wanted more than enough.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Dylan\u2019s heroine is Riley, a new character to the series and the girl who moved in next door to him when she was just 12. A year ago Riley lost the love of her life to a tragic accident. Since then she gets through her days drunk and hiding in her room. Dylan comes into her life in the most unexpected way, and the way he is there for her and draws her out is fantastic. But it\u2019s the way he falls for her and pursues her romantically which absolutely stole my heart.<\/p>\n

\u201cStart from the beginning,\u201d Dylan says. \u201cTell me how you met. How he asked you out. Where he took you on the first date. Your first kiss. Tell me how he made you\u00a0<\/em>feel. Tell me how he loved you.\u201d
\nI sniff back my heartbreak and look up at him. \u201cWhy?\u201d
\n\u201cBecause, Riley,\u201d he says, kissing the top of my head. \u201cI plan on loving you like he did.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Holy freaking swoon!<\/p>\n

Riley has a lot of guilt over moving on after the death of her boyfriend, but her confidence and trust in Dylan is unwavering as she finds the strength to move on and open her heart again. I loved her!<\/p>\n

The story takes a big turn in the second half, and this is where the feels really become intense. The rock bottom from the start of the book seems easy compared to everything they are faced with in the second half and I read with my heart breaking and tears streaming down my face. Jay McLean gets you right into the heart and soul of these characters as they go through hell, and I felt every single moment. But watching their slow struggle out of the turmoil is worth every moment of the pain as they find themselves, and their way back to the peace and happiness that they found in each other. It\u2019s absolutely amazing!<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m here because I need you. I\u2019m here because you\u2019re the\u00a0only<\/em>\u00a0thing I need. You\u2019re enough, babe. You\u2019re\u00a0<\/em>everything!\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As always, the entire\u00a0More<\/em>\u00a0gang is along for the ride, and I loved the chance to catch up with them all. They are there to support Dylan and his girl through everything that they go through, but it\u2019s the funny moments that I loved the most. From Dylan\u2019s complete electronic ineptitude to book club, Lucy\u2019s drunken outbursts and the outrageous pranks, I was laughing out loud so many times! I also loved Dylan\u2019s family \u2013 his brother, Eric, in particular is freaking hilarious! The side characters bring so much to the story, but their antics help lighten the mood of the book, and the mix of the awesome camaraderie and ridiculousness that is this group together, with the romance and intensity of the rest of the book is brilliantly done.<\/p>\n

I adored this book. Definitely a hard read at times, but so beautifully written. This story was perfect – I laughed, I cried, my heart was broken and then fixed again, and I fell in mad, mad love.<\/p>\n
