Emme has been burned by men and her most recent breakup has hit harder than before. When an invitation to her ex-boyfriend and ex-assistant\u2019s wedding arrives, she goes a little crazy. She never imagined that a little fire and the RSVP card could do so much damage, and when it goes up in flames\u00a0her sexy neighbor, Nate, comes to the rescue.<\/p>\n

Nate and Emme have been neighbors for years. They have a fun friendship and have never crossed the line. She falls in love too easily and he doesn\u2019t believe in it in the first place so they don’t want to screw up their friendship.\u00a0When a surprise ends up rocking Nate\u2019s world, Emme is there for him. As they grow closer, its more apparent than ever that they want different things even though feelings are strengthening. This book is a breath of fresh air and I loved it! A wonderful friends-to-lovers romance with a swoony hero and lovable heroine, it had just the right mix of sweet and sexy, funny and serious, and everything in between. I was immediately sucked into the story and quickly became invested in Emme and Nate\u2019s lives, desperate for their happily ever after.<\/p>\n

Emme is such a lovely character who instantly put a smile on my face. Despite the fact that she hasn\u2019t found \u201cthe one\u201d, she still believes in love. I loved her optimism\u00a0and her big heart. When she loves, she loves with everything she is. She is relatable and realistic, and I loved watching her mature when it came to relationships.<\/p>\n

Nate is so much more complicated than I could have imagined. The past that shaped him was heartbreaking and his ideas about relationships were understandable. As a bachelor, he is fun, sexy, and confident, knowing exactly what he wants from life and women. But Nate as a father…SWOON!!\u00a0He became more awesome with every second he spent with his daughter.<\/p>\n

Nate had a lot to learn and his honest and overwhelming fears and insecurities made him real.\u00a0I loved watching his character grow as he realized the important things in his life.<\/p>\n

Emme and Nate, so different yet so perfect for each other.\u00a0They have great chemistry, their attraction is believable, and the sexual tension drips off the pages. Their friendship is natural and I enjoyed watching it grow and become more as they spend a significant time together. The banter is sensational and the emotion is intense as they learn to trust, open up, and accept each other\u2019s imperfections.<\/p>\n

Their journey to a happily ever after isn\u2019t without heartache, and though it was not overly angsty, it still had me on edge waiting for the blow up. I understood where both characters were coming from but it was no less heartbreaking when everything goes wrong. Thankfully even though it was emotional, it didn\u2019t destroy me. I turned the last page with a huge smile on my face and love in my heart.<\/p>\n

Only You<\/i> is such a sweet friends-to-lovers story and I can\u2019t wait for more. Only Him<\/i> featuring Emme\u2019s younger, free spirited sister, Maren is releasing June 2018 and I hope Emme\u2019s older sister, Stella, also gets a book.<\/p>\n

*On a side note, fans of Harlow\u2019s Frenched<\/i><\/a> series will be excited to see Mia & Lucas and Nick & Coco again in Only You<\/i> as good friends of Emme.<\/p>\n
