Lydia is a rule following, goal-oriented, self-proclaimed good girl and a 22 year-old virgin. When she sets her eyes on a guy who makes her heart flutter she thinks she has found the man to finally take her virginity. Too bad he turns out to be her boss\u2019 boss and is off limits, or so he should be. He seems to be giving her mixed signals but she\u2019s not entirely convinced he doesn\u2019t want her, too, so she\u2019s willing to take extreme measures to catch his eye. Auctioning off her virginity seems like a good way to get his attention, right?<\/p>\n

Jana Aston really knows how to make you laugh! Her latest romantic comedy, Good Girl<\/i>, is sweet, sexy, light-hearted, and all kinds of hilarious, with a fun storyline and delightfully amusing characters that fill your heart with laughs and love.\u00a0It\u2019s over-the-top crazy in an absolutely entertaining way and I couldn\u2019t put it down! With a fun storyline and delightfully amusing characters, this book will fill your heart with laughs and love.<\/p>\n

I adored Lydia. She was a great mix between nerdy, quirky, silly, and sexy, and I loved every comical thing that came out of her mouth. There\u2019s a lot of inner dialogue and in some books it would really bug me; however, being in Lydia\u2019s head just cracked me up and once I started laughing, I couldn\u2019t stop. Though at times Lydia was a bit dramatic, I could relate to some of her fears when it came to being herself with Rhys and\u00a0I liked that she didn\u2019t shrug them off and remained optimistic in her own fun way.<\/p>\n

I know he likes me, I know he does. And he likes me more than a like amount. He just needs to come to terms with it or something.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rhys doesn\u2019t do serious relationships and he intrigued me from the get go. I didn\u2019t know if I would love him because of some of his lifestyle choices but he owned his actions and it actually did not bother me because it only took a taste of Lydia to make his head swim. I loved that he realized what was going on between them and I enjoyed watching his feelings grow. I knew the moment he met her he wouldn\u2019t be able to resist the quirky girl he met in a bar.<\/p>\n

She makes me what to try. Try to be different. Try to be better. Try to slow down and give a shit about what\u2019s real and what matters. And I think she\u2019s real.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rhys is a dirty talker and into all kinds of kink, and from the outside you wouldn\u2019t think he would be good for good girl Lydia but OMG they are great together. The banter is hysterical and I couldn\u2019t wait to hear the conversations they would have.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs it happening right now? Are we doing the sex?
\n\u201cWe\u2019re most definitely doing the sex.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I felt their attraction and smoking hot chemistry, and everything out of Rhys\u2019 mouth when he was with Lydia was a turn-on. I don\u2019t know how they could stay away from each other for as long as they did because the pull each had on the other was palpable. Their early interactions were steamy and then as they get to really know each other the swoony moments come out in full force. They grow together and I couldn\u2019t help but fall in love right along with them.<\/p>\n

I loved the secondary characters, too. Lydia and Peyton\u2019s friendship was awesome and every time they were together I had tears streaming down my face from laughing so hard. The badges were some of the best parts and I can\u2019t wait for more Peyton in Good Time<\/i><\/a>, releasing Fall 2018. And then there is Rhys and Canon’s friendship \u2013 it\u2019s so good that I need more of Canon and hope he gets his own book as well. I also love when authors interconnect standalones with previous characters and it was nice that Jennings and Violet from\u00a0Sure<\/i> Thing<\/em> <\/a>made cameos.<\/p>\n

Overall, Good Girl<\/i> is a lighthearted, angst-free read that made me laugh through the entirety of the story and left me grinning from ear-to-ear. Loved it!<\/p>\n
