4 dark and deliciously dirty stars!<\/b><\/p>\n

Fix is back, baby, and whoa, what a ride! Dark, dangerous, exciting, suspenseful, surprisingly swoony and seriously sexy, the second instalment of Fix and Sera’s story had me captivated from start to finish.<\/p>\n

Dirty introduced us to badass hitman, Fix Marcosa, and good girl with a tortured past, Sera Lafferty. After ending up stuck together in a hotel room, their sizzling chemistry began a whirlwind journey which ended on a hideous cliffhanger. This book picks up right where that one left off, and in the midst of heartache, betrayal and fear, secrets are revealed, and thing between them will never be the same.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m the thing that stands between you and the dark. I will always be standing there, bracing for the shit storm, ready to fucking defend and protect you, if that\u2019s what you want, because you\u2019re the most important, pivotal, vital thing that\u2019s ever happened to me.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And as Fix and Sera begin the search for a dangerous new threat, Sera finds herself transported even further into Fix\u2019s dark and deadly world, and even more transfixed by the dangerously seductive man that she cannot resist as he pulls out everything he\u2019s got to save his girl.<\/p>\n

God, I love this love story! It\u2019s dark and gritty, and exploding with chemistry. Fix and Sera cannot keep their hands off each other and the sex is passionate, intense and full of dirty talk and a touch of depravity. Fix encourages Sera to embrace all that he can make her feel, and she\u2019s only too happy to comply, and it\u2019s damn hot!<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s yours,\u201d he murmured. \u201cMy face. My mouth. May hands. My body. My cock. All of it. If you want it, it\u2019s all yours. Feel free to use the fuck out of me.\u201d
\n<\/i>Dear Lord. Thankyou so much for your depraved servant, Felix.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And in the midst of all of that intense sexual heat, there is still an element of humour as Fix jokes, teases and banters his way into Sera\u2019s heart, and it\u2019s such a great balance for a wonderfully developed character! And to add even further complexity to him, we get to see a bit more of his backstory which I really enjoyed, and which allowed us to get to know him a bit more.<\/p>\n

Sera\u2019s strength continues to impress me. Yes, she\u2019s in danger, but she\u2019s certainly no doormat, and she is more than a match for Fix as she stands toe-to-toe with him like the beautiful badass that she is!<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re a weapon, Sera.\u00a0 You were forged in fire.\u00a0 When you remove a weapon from the flames, it becomes even stronger.\u00a0 Sharper.\u00a0 A hundred times more lethal than it ever was before.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There\u2019s more action, excitement, and some suspense as Fix and Sera work together to seek out the threat and eliminate it, but in the middle of it all is a beautifully developing romance as their feelings for each other continue to grow, and big, badass Fix brings the swoon.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you\u2019re with me, you\u2019re not vulnerable. When you\u2019re with me, you are safe. When you\u2019re with me, you will never be alone. And as for your heart, Sera. I\u2019ll make sure it\u2019s beating too fast for you to ever feel it ache again.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It ends on another cliffy, though not too painful and one that actually made me squeal out loud and has me hugely excited with where it\u2019s all going to go from here.<\/p>\n

I loved it \u2013 4 stars.<\/p>\n
