Review<\/strong><\/h4>\n

HOLY SHIT! I\u2019m beginning to suspect that, like her delicious characters \u2013 Tiffany Reisz is a sadist! Wow, what an ending! And what a book!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Taking us into deeper and darker places than the previous books in the series, The Prince<\/i> is an intense ride from start to finish. Once again full of shocking revelations, sensational dynamics between intriguing characters, and intense emotion, this book kept me enthralled from start to finish, and I could not put it down.<\/p>\n

Warning \u2013 this will contain spoilers for earlier books in the series.<\/b><\/p>\n

Firstly, Wesley is back in all of his sweet but sarcastic glory. I love Wesley! He provides such a fantastic sense of \u2018normality\u2019 in this world full of extremists. He has a wonderful vulnerability about him, but his openness and honesty, his absolute love for Nora, and his strength in standing up for himself, and for her, is fantastically charming.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had to be a hero for her. He wished the world still had dragons so he had something to slay for her.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Nora is at her sassy best. She spends this book in Kentucky with Wesley, and the two of them back together again is gold \u2013 I love their relationship! There are some big developments between the two of them, and although I was conflicted my feelings at times (and annoyed with Nora\u2019s incessant talk of S\u00f8ren!), I\u2019m happy with the direction that the story took. I did find the whole horse storyline to be a bit dull, but the bantering between the two of them was gold and was enough to pull me through.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is your world, kid. Not mine. You know I don\u2019t belong here.\u201d
\n\u201cYou once told me you loved it down south.\u201d
\n\u201cI was talking about anal sex.\u201d
\n\u201cOf course you were.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cNo commentary, Nora. Please,\u201d he said as he pushed an arm inside the mare.<\/em>
\n \u201cI won\u2019t say a single word,\u201d she pledged as she took the horse\u2019s head in her lap. \u201cExcept that this reminds me of my last date with Griffin.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But most of all, this is Kingsley and S\u00f8ren\u2019s story \u2013 past and present, and OH. MY. GOD!! I was blown away by the intensity of everything between them. Some massive bombs about their history were revealed in The Angel<\/a>, but this book delves much deeper. The chapters alternate between the present day, and back to their first meeting as teenagers, where we get to watch them discover and explore who they are as their incredible relationship starts to form. And seeing it translate to the present is absolutely incredible!<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a child\u2026I didn\u2019t understand, couldn\u2019t understand. I thought I\u2019d been born broken.\u201d
\n\u201cBroken?\u201d Kingsley could hardly believe his ears. “When I saw you the first time, I felt…healed. If you are broken, then I only pray someday I break too.”<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kingsley Edge. Wow! Up to this point we\u2019ve only seen the public persona, but getting to know Kingsley has given me an entirely different perspective, and I absolutely fell for him in this book. His story is heartbreakingly tragic, and it seems that even his happy times are heartbreakingly tragic, but at the same time blissfully life-altering. God, I need a happy ending for him!<\/p>\n

The intensity of this relationship had me reeling, and as much as I love Wesley and Nora, I found myself hurrying through their parts of the story so that I could get back to Kingsley and S\u00f8ren! An unconventional, but nevertheless, epic romance that shocked me, thrilled me, angered me, and devastated me all at the same time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always wanted to believe God made me this way for a reason.\u201d
\n\u201cI am the reason.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I thought I had read BDSM books before, but this is HARD CORE. The physical acts are shocking, yes, but it\u2019s more the psychological and emotional side of it. Reading about the feelings of these characters as they do what it is they do was absolutely fascinating! The emotional intensity between them left me gobsmacked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have nothing in me that you cannot break. I would let you destroy me, and then I would resurrect myself from my own ashes for the honor of being destroyed by you again.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The continuation of the \u2018bad guy\u2019 storyline from the previous book picks up in intensity, with the situation now getting violent and scary. I picked the big twist, but it didn\u2019t lessen the impact at all, and I cannot WAIT to see how it all plays out.<\/p>\n

Sensational, definitely my favourite of the series so far. 5 stars.<\/p>\n
