Wow! And again, Tiffany Reisz has left me at a complete loss. I’m stunned at what I\u2019ve just read and, once again, I have NO idea what is coming next, or even any idea what I want to happen! I\u2019m so torn!<\/p>\n

This book picks up just over a year after the events of The Siren<\/a>, and sees Nora spending the summer at Griffin\u2019s house, and she\u2019s taken with her the lovely Michael. This is a recipe for smut, laughs, and lots of kink, as two of the most shameless and overtly sexual people I\u2019ve ever read come together under the one roof with a \u201cjunior kinkster\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo interruptions for the next couple of hours, please. My guest and I will be fucking. Two hours, Nora?\u201d
\n\u201cAt least,\u201d she agreed.
\n\u201cBetter make it three, Alfred.\u201d Griffin shifted Nora higher on his shoulder and continued up the stairs.
\n\u201cThis is going to be a long summer, isn\u2019t it?\u201d she asked.
\n\u201cEight and a half inches long, if you\u2019ll recall.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Griffin is fabulous! OMG, I absolutely love him! He is absolutely hilarious, and had me laughing so many times!<\/p>\n

\u201cCan I call you Mick? Michael’s too formal. I’m not formal. You’re lucky I’ve even got pants on today.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He\u2019s charmingly carefree and hedonistic, and quite the kinky bastard, but he has a huge heart, and I love the way that that gets explored. Griffin also gets the chance to let his protective alpha-ness shine, and he has some absolutely epic confrontations in the story that made me fall even more in love with him! Absolutely awesome!<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, S\u00f8ren is back at home dealing with a nosy reporter intent on digging up some dirt on him (*snort* if only she knew!). I wasn\u2019t a huge fan of S\u00f8ren in the last book, but OMG! Learning about his past and getting to know and understand him, and his relationship with Nora, better, I\u2019m starting to develop some feelings for the sadist! He\u2019s definitely into some freaky shit, and frankly, I\u2019m a little terrified of him, but seeing his softer side, and hearing him talk of Nora and what she means to him\u2026 wow.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy confession begins \u2026 as the confessions of many men begin \u2013 with three words.\u201d

\n\u201cI met Eleanor.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Nora is still very present, but is not as much of a focus in this one as so many other storylines are explored. But I didn\u2019t mind it at all! This bunch of characters is utterly intriguing, and I loved the chance to get to know them better, and the deeper we delve, the more surprises are revealed, and HOLY HELL! S\u00f8ren! Griffin! Michael! Nora! Kingsley! The revelations are constant and absolutely gobsmacking.<\/p>\n

This book is a lot smuttier than The Siren<\/i>, but that\u2019s to be expected as we delve deeper into the dark and dirty world of these characters – this is who they are, and the life that they live, and their openness with each other forms a huge part of the story, and adds an extra layer to the already sensational dynamics.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s get on with it. Pick a position. Trust me, no matter how acrobatic, we can do it.\u201d
\n\u201cNo wall sex though, please,\u201d Griffin requested \u2026 \u201cNora\u2019s a lot heavier than she looks.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is a fair bit of emotion in this book. Learning more about the history of the individuals in the story brings some tragic reveals (oh S\u00f8ren *sniff*), Michael goes through a whole lot of character growth which is heart-warming and made me want to hug him, and there are still some romantic issues for our favourite Domme to work through. There is also a surprising but gorgeously unfolding love story that had me bouncing up and down in my chair with excitement and grinning madly.<\/p>\n

Reisz\u2019s writing continues to be sharp, witty and engaging. And I love that she constantly keeps the reader on their toes. And then there is that ending \u2013 OMG! Just when you think you have things figured out, there is that ending that left me totally conflicted.<\/p>\n

But then\u2026 OMG, IT\u2019S WESLEY!!! YESSSSSSSSS! I LOVE WESLEY!!!!<\/p>\n

Ugh, I\u2019m so fickle!<\/div><\/div>\n

With the next book entitled \u2018The Prince<\/i>\u2019 (squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!), I just HAVE to go straight on and see what happens next.<\/p>\n

I loved it \u2013 4.5 stars.<\/p>\n
