4 dark, mysterious and sexy stars<\/b><\/p>\n

Another fantastic read from Meghan March as she takes us back to New Orleans for another steamy story that had me completely captivated. A spin-off from the Mount <\/a>Trilogy (you don’t need to have read that one to enjoy this one), this is the story of Kira’s (Mount<\/i> heroine) assistant, Temperance, and it’s a strong start to what is sure to be a sexy, exciting and intense series!<\/p>\n

Temperance has worked hard to drag herself away from her poor-girl-from-the-bayou background, and is now COO of a successful whiskey distilling business, but she\u2019s got an edge which makes her really interesting, with a bit of a shady past and dreams of something more.<\/p>\n

Temperance is heading to a business meeting when she mistakenly wanders into an elite sex club (it could happen!). She is mesmerised by all that she sees, but it\u2019s when she\u2019s approached by a masked stranger that her night truly gets interesting. Dark, mysterious and sexy, the stranger completely rocks her world, leaving her desperate for more. Which he delivers when she bravely ventures into the club again. And though she has no idea who he is, she can\u2019t stay away.<\/p>\n

This story has a wonderfully dark edge to it as Temperance explores a whole new side of herself, and each encounter with her mysterious stranger absolutely sizzles with chemistry. But when his secret is revealed, it changes everything.<\/p>\n

I really enjoyed this book. It\u2019s a quick read, but full of all of the intensity that Meghan writes so well. I love the tie-in to the Beneath<\/i> series, and loved catching up with some of those much-loved characters, and I really enjoyed Temperance\u2019s personal journey as she begins to spread her wings. But it\u2019s the story of Temperance and her stranger that has completely captivated me, and after that cliffy I\u2019m diving straight into the next book.<\/p>\n

Loved it \u2013 4 stars.<\/p>\n
