The second book in the Savage<\/i> trilogy, and OMG things are getting good!<\/p>\n

Everything changed in those final few moments of the first book, the identity of Temperance\u2019s mystery man has been revealed, and she is not happy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t believe I let you–\u201d
\n\u201cFuck you six ways to Sunday? You should probably add in there that you can\u2019t believe that you liked it so fucking much.\u201d
\n\u201cI hate you.\u201d
\nFor some reason that actually makes me smile.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But with her life in danger, Temperance needs protection, and it\u2019s mystery man Kane who steps in to keep her safe.<\/p>\n

Full of all the mystery, suspense, excitement and passion of the first book, the intensity is stepped up a notch in this one, and it\u2019s so good! I absolutely loved getting to know Kane, we\u2019ve seen him as the big stoic badass sex god, and now there\u2019s this other side to him which is just as badass (and he\u2019s still clearly a sex god), but as he and Temperance get to know each other, everything between them intensifies and we finally have a true romance on our hands!<\/p>\n

All I want is to make her feel the same storm that\u2019s raging inside me. I want her to feel this addiction. Fuck. I want to keep her.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They had already established their sexual compatibility and mad lust for each other, and while that chemistry continues in this book, it\u2019s all ramped up as we also get to see the development of true feelings for each other, and I loved that!<\/p>\n

\u201cYou need someone to channel your energy. Tell you it\u2019s okay to want more. To show you how to take more. I\u2019m not your jailer, your assistant, or your fucking bodyguard, Temperance. I\u2019m your man, and it\u2019s time to remind you exactly why you want me to be.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Shivers, people. Freaking shivers!<\/p>\n

Again, it all builds to an ending that is surprising and exciting, and that has me reaching for the next book. I\u2019m loving this trilogy, and can\u2019t wait to see how it\u2019s all going to end up.<\/p>\n
