On the Record<\/i> is the second book in K.A. Linde\u2019s Record<\/i><\/a> series and though I ended up really enjoying it, I wasn\u2019t sure how I felt about this book in the beginning. I was expecting the storyline to go a completely different way and when it didn\u2019t, I was nervous and even upset. Slowly everything comes together though, and I actually ended up liking the turns the story took because it made me even more invested in Liz and Brady.<\/p>\n

Liz still has feelings for Brady but she pushes them away and decides to take a chance on Hayden. Brady seems to have moved on too and this is definitely not the way I saw the story going. If you are wanting a book with Liz and Brady together, this is not it, yet I still couldn\u2019t wait to see what happened. It\u2019s addictive and captivating with more emotion and conflicted feelings as well as frustrating moments really tore me up inside.<\/p>\n

The emotion is draining, the distance is infuriating, and the fact that they are in two separate relationships is crushing in itself. On top of that I actually started liking Hayden more in this book than the last; however, that didn\u2019t change the fact that I was still rooting for Liz and Brady.<\/p>\n

I knew something would happen that would flip Liz and Brady\u2019s world again and I was eager to see them together again. The connection Liz and Brady felt from the very beginning is very much present and there is a delicious tension so thick you could cut it with a knife that surrounds them every moment they spend together. I just wish there was more of Brady. You can tell the feelings are still strong and the conflict that is unresolved is almost consuming. \u2028\u2028The storyline didn\u2019t go in the way I expected; however, it leads into the third book wonderfully and I cannot wait to dive into For the Record<\/i>. I am definitely invested in this series and I need more!<\/p>\n
