Not as dark as some of the previous books in the Hades Hangmen<\/i> series, but no less intense, with loads of action and excitement and an absolutely epic romance! Tanner and Adelita\u2019s story captivated me from start to the 4am finish and I loved it!<\/p>\n Two years ago, Tanner Ayers and Adelita Quintana fell in mad, wild, unreserved love. It wasn\u2019t simple, but it was everything, and it should have been the start of something wonderful. But he was the Prince and heir of the KKK, and she the Princess of a Mexican drug cartel, daughter of their ruthless leader. Their situation was impossible and always destined for heartbreak, and when Tanner left Mexico, it was with the promise that he would get his life into a position where he and Adelita could be together, and that he would return to her as soon as he could.<\/p>\n In the present, Tanner has broken all ties with the Klan, and therefore his family, and is a member of the Hades Hangmen MC. There are no games, no stupid, just honesty, passion and so much love, and it\u2019s just as well because they have a world of trouble heading their way.<\/p>\n With war looming with both the Klan and the cartel, Tanner is preparing to face his family and his old brothers, as well as the family of the woman he loves, and the trigger has just been pulled. It\u2019s violent and intense, and really emotional, and knowing this series I was reading with a sense of dread knowing that it had to get worse before it gets better, and even though it wasn\u2019t as bad as I was expecting, the anticipation of it all had my heart pounding s to see how it was all going to play out.<\/p>\n There are some chapters in the book from Styx\u2019s POV, which I loved! They are exactly the scenes we want to see for him and Mae, and I loved getting back inside of the MC Prez\u2019s head during those key moments.<\/p>\n The story twists and turns, there is violence, death and betrayal, and some fantastic surprises along the way and I couldn\u2019t put my kindle down! And in the middle of it all is this absolutely epic love story that completely captured my heart.<\/p>\n \u201cMeeting you, as hateful as it was in the beginning, has been the single biggest blessing I\u2019ve had in my life.\u201d Adelita stroked her fingers along the back of my hand. \u201cSeeing you fight your demons, challenge the prejudices you were raised with and completely change, was the most amazing transformation to witness.\u201d \u201cI love you, princess. You fucking saved me. Not sure if you know it. But you saved me.\u201d<\/em> I loved this story. I loved the emotion, the drama and the excitement. I loved catching up with the Hangmen and their girls, and seeing all of the dynamics at play there, and I\u2019m really excited for Viking\u2019s book up next \u2013 especially with the glimpse of his possible heroine. The drama is far from over for the MC, and there are still so many stories to be told.
