I love a good friends-to-lovers story and Best Laid Plans<\/i> has it all. Fun characters, hidden feelings, and a great friendship they do not want to ruin. It’s a sweet, entertaining read that will leave you with a smile and a warm heart, and I couldn’t put it down.<\/p>\n

Being dumped by her boyfriend because she is \u201ctoo nice\u201d was the last thing Arden expected. The only good thing to come out of the emotional day is a new friendship with the resident playboy when he comforts her from her heartbreak.<\/p>\n

The fact is, Gabe knows a lot about me. It\u2019s funny, or maybe not so funny, how someone seeing you at your worst can forge an instant friendship and a tight-knit bond. That\u2019s exactly what happened with us.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Over the next year they become closer yet remain just friends despite the secret attraction each feels towards the other, and as even more time goes by, it becomes increasingly more difficult to keep their feelings in check.<\/p>\n

Arden and Gabe are well developed characters that are great individually as well as together. Arden goes through so much self discovery when she decides to take things into her own hands. I loved her curiosity and her honesty about wanting to know what she\u2019s missing. I loved her growth as she reached the empowerment and confidence she was after, and when she finally puts herself out there it is exciting and steamy.<\/p>\n

Gabe is awesome! He supported Arden completely and wanted what was best for her as she discovered what she liked. He was so sweet with her when they were just friends and when they become more he really brings on the swoon.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t want to be in the friend zone anymore. I want to be in the everything zone. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s scary going from friends to more and this one was well done. The reservations were realistic and relatable and the pent up desire really start to crank up the sexual tension. What starts out as minimal touching turns into so much more and they combust. The dirty talking and fantasies are hot while they discover just how good they can be together.<\/p>\n

The transition from friendship to romance is not always easy but sometimes you have to change the plans to get what you want. In the end Arden and Gabe\u2019s friendship was real and their love was true, and they gave me the warm fuzzies whenever they were together.<\/p>\n

Overall, Best Laid Plans<\/i> is another rom com full of heart and heat, and an entertaining friends-to-lovers story.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m most definitely a planner, but I never planned to be a good girl.<\/p>\n

Honestly, I didn\u2019t even think twice about good girls versus naughty ones. I always figured with sex and love, you could have it all.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s what we\u2019re taught as women, right?<\/p>\n

You can be prim and proper during the day and wild and daring at night. Or the other way around. Whatever floats your banana boat.<\/p>\n
