GAH, this story is just too cute!! It\u2019s a forbidden romance between a single father to three adorable girls and his part-time nanny who happens to also be his boss\u2019 daughter. It is jam packed with sweet, swoony moments that bounce between lighthearted fun and emotional unrest, and I couldn\u2019t put it down!!<\/p>\n

Mack is such a good dad but it\u2019s hard raising three daughters by himself. He often feels like he is sinking but I could see he was trying to raise them the best he can. The challenges he faces daily and his vulnerabilities and insecurities make him real and relatable. \u00a0\u2028\u2028I could feel his struggles between being a father and being the man who deserves to find love. I wanted him to grasp the beautiful woman in front of him but he always puts the needs of others ahead of his own. My heart went out to him and I just wanted him to be happy.<\/p>\n

What a pathetic fucking clich\u00e9 I was: Divorced Dad Lusting after the Babysitter. As if a girl like her wanted anything to do with a guy like me\u2014one with three kids and a bitter ex-wife. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Frannie is the nanny and she is such a delight. I loved everything about her. The things that fill her head are all relatable. Liking someone and not knowing how they felt? I\u2019ve been there. The little touches that mean so much and the pounding heart and tummy flutters that come with them? Yup, been there too! All of her feelings are well written and real, and I connected with her immediately. I love that she is strong, honest, and goes after what she wants without letting her fear get in the way. She is endearing and a breath of fresh air to everyone around her, and I loved her character.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t need to worry about me, Mack. I don\u2019t want to be another responsibility in your life. And I don\u2019t need promises or labels.\u201d She took a breath. \u201cI just want to feel like I\u2019m <\/i>somebody to you.\u201d <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Mack and Frannie are perfect together and are exactly what the other doesn\u2019t know they need. Though they try to hide their attraction, the chemistry between these two is evident and off the charts. When they finally take a chance, it reminded me of an exciting young love. It is sexy and thrilling, sweet and swoony.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou should tell me to go to bed,\u201d I said quietly.
\n\u201cWhy?\u201d she whispered.
\n\u201cBecause if you don\u2019t, I\u2019m going to kiss you.\u201d

I loved the forbidden aspect because it was believable and not over the top. The sneaking around and stealing kisses made my heart race and I could feel the intensity and passion of their love.<\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t breathe, couldn\u2019t see, couldn\u2019t think.
\nIt was obvious the other night hadn\u2019t been a fluke\u2014whatever this thing was between us was real. And powerful. And not going anywhere. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

However, a relationship is far from easy for this couple and there are obstacles that try to ruin the love that is blooming. I hurt for them and wanted to scream at my kindle because of some of the decisions they were making. I understand the fears and reasons behind the choices but they still made me sad.<\/p>\n

I watched her leave, feeling that ache in my chest again, and I wished there was a way I could\u2019ve asked her to stay. I was tired of being careful, tired of missing her at night, tired of feeling bad for wanting her, tired of feeling like I was one person with her, and a different person with the kids. Neither version of me was complete.
\nI wanted to be both at once.
\n<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the end, though, I loved how everything came together. The epilogue made me giddy and I couldn’t keep the smile off my face.\u00a0I adored Mack\u2019s girls as well as the rest of the secondary characters and can\u2019t wait for more of the Cloverleigh Farms<\/a> <\/i> series. I already love the Sawyer family and I am so excited for Chloe\u2019s story, Undeniable<\/i>, coming May 2019!!<\/p>\n

I was holding my breath. <\/span><\/p>\n

I wasn\u2019t even sure why, but it was something about the way Mack was looking at me. And the tension in his body\u2014the taut muscles in his neck. The grip of his fingers on the edge of the counter. The set of his jaw. It gave the impression of <\/span>restraint<\/span><\/i>. Like he was holding himself back. <\/span><\/p>\n

Something unfamiliar hummed in the air between us. I could <\/span>feel it<\/span><\/i>\u2014he wanted me the way I wanted him. <\/span><\/p>\n

No wonder I couldn\u2019t breathe. <\/span><\/p>\n
