I couldn’t get enough of this heartfelt celebrity\/bodyguard romance and devoured it in one sitting.<\/p>\n This book is the second in Natasha Madison\u2019s Hollywood Royalty<\/i> series, but it is a standalone. There is some very minor character crossover, but you can easily read this one on its own.<\/p>\n Kellie is a Hollywood Princess. A much-loved and highly successful singer, she has the world at her feet and is about to take off on a three month tour. Unbeknownst to her though, she is attracting the wrong sort of attention with a stalker becoming more and more threatening, and her team bring in security to keep her safe \u2013 and it just happens to be the man who rejected her advances only a few short months previously.<\/p>\n Brian is a former SEAL, now bodyguard, who is committed to his job in security. He has worked with Kellie before, and when his company are asked to provide one-on-one protection for her upcoming tour, he volunteers for the job and is appointed to be her shadow for the next nine months.<\/p>\n It\u2019s a slightly awkward situation already with Kellie\u2019s attraction to him the elephant in the room, however it\u2019s so much more than that as Brian\u2019s feelings for her are just as strong, it\u2019s just that he\u2019s a professional, he has a job to do and he\u2019s determined to do it. But the chemistry sizzling between them is undeniable, and they\u2019ve not even left on the tour before Brian makes his feelings clear.<\/p>\n \u201cWe don\u2019t have time to get into this.\u201d My voice is lower than it was before. \u201cAnd it doesn\u2019t help that for the next ninety days, I\u2019m going to be your shadow. But\u201d \u2013 I lean in a touch closer, and her chest stops moving as she holds her breath \u2013 \u201cwhen we get back, if this thing is still here, the gloves are coming off.\u201d May hands itch to touch her, to run my thumb around her jaw and feel her skin under mine. It\u2019s a powder keg of sexual tension just waiting to explode, and I loved every freaking minute of it! Every glance, every touch \u2013 no matter how innocent, every moment they spend together is just simmering with chemistry, and I loved watching everything build between them. My heart was pounding with excitement just waiting for something to happen. Yes, there\u2019s lust, but there\u2019s something more there and with them spending practically every waking hour together it builds into something special that is impossible for them to resist.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s you.\u201d I love these two together so much! They are open and honest about how they\u2019re feeling, they don\u2019t hide anything, and there\u2019s this forbidden-ish aspect to their relationship that adds an extra intensity, and once they cross that line, it\u2019s all on! And holy hot damn, Brian is one seriously sexy alpha! He\u2019s sweet, sexy, funny and beautifully protective. I fell in mad love with him, and loved watching the gentle, more emotional side of the big badass as he fell harder and harder for Kellie.<\/p>\n \u201cI had this whole plan for when this would happen,\u201d I tell him \u2026 \u201cI had this outfit all set up to bring you to your knees.\u201d Swoooooon!<\/p>\n Kellie is a great heroine. She may be a superstar, but she\u2019s such a down-to-earth girl with a big heart, and a fantastically brave forwardness when it comes to Brian. She knows what she wants, and she\u2019s determined to have him, and I loved how she wasn\u2019t afraid to pursue him.<\/p>\n They do have some ups and downs, but it\u2019s functional for the most part, and the drama that comes, though minimal, adds great depth to the story. And there\u2019s even a bit of suspense as the threat to Kellie becomes more dangerous, and Brian needs to go all out to protect his girl.<\/p>\n I loved this story so much. I was completely sucked in and couldn\u2019t put it down, and I lost myself in the heartpounding anticipation, sexy times and swoon as it all played out.
