Heart of the Devil<\/i> is the epic conclusion to the Forge Trilogy<\/i><\/a>. It plays out like an exciting, fast-paced, suspenseful, action movie that gets your heart pumping and your emotions flowing. It\u2019s twisted, complicated, and unputdownable. I loved it!!<\/p>\n

The story picks up after the brutal cliffhanger from Luck of the Devil<\/i><\/a> and immediately we dive into chaos. Indy is desperate to get to Jericho but time is running out. Dangers are lurking, blood is spilling, and enemies are coming out of the woodwork. Nobody is safe and Indy and Jericho must face the most difficult challenges yet.<\/p>\n

From the start there are so many unanswered questions and the unknowns are overwhelming. Indy doesn\u2019t know who she can trust, where she\u2019s going, or if she will even see Jericho again. The only truth she knows for sure is the way she feels about him. I admired her strength and determination as she fights for the unexpected love she has found. She refuses to lose hope or give up, and I love that she goes all in when it comes to Jericho.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jericho Forge doesn\u2019t have a single clue what it\u2019s like to be the center of someone\u2019s world. He\u2019s about to find out. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jericho intrigued me in the earlier books with his rough edges and confidence but when he showed me his sweet side that only Indy brings out, I was a goner. He\u2019s gotten under my skin and I can\u2019t get enough of him. He is a badass billionaire who is not only hardcore but who has connections and isn\u2019t afraid to use them. He will do anything to keep Indy safe and even though there were times I was frustrated with his actions, I understood them. The depth of his love for her is everything and I couldn\u2019t stop swooning.<\/p>\n

“That’s what you get. Every heartbeat. Every fucking breath. Everything I am and everything I have is yours.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Together, Indy and Jericho seem unstoppable. \u00a0They are stronger together and yet they are also vulnerable. I loved seeing the need through their eyes when they acknowledge that they could lose everything. I loved their intimacy, intensity, chemistry, and heat.<\/p>\n

“I need you. My hands on your body. Your taste on my lips. Your breath against my skin. I need to feel you. Feel that your safe and everything’s going to be okay.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Just when you think you know what is going to happen, the story takes a turn, and OMG, it\u2019s a rollercoaster of emotion as their relationship is tested. I was heartbroken and frustrated, and wanted to scream. Their love isn\u2019t the only thing in jeopardy though. The jaw-dropping twists give us front-row seats to the dangers that threaten Indy and Jericho lives. The suspense is real and intense. However, as the story unfolds, Jericho and Indy take things up a notch and prove they will do anything for their happily ever after.<\/p>\n

Overall, Indy and Jericho\u2019s love story was exciting, addictive, intense, and oh, so good. Add in the gorgeous epilogue and Heart of the Devil<\/i> was the perfect ending to the Forge Trilogy<\/i>.<\/p>\n
