Flat-Out Love<\/a> was a little book that totally took me by surprise. I absolutely loved it, and it became an instant favourite, so I was so stoked to get to this novella! It\u2019s a huge bonus for all the geeky Matt lovers out there, myself included. There are two prequel chapters and seven Flat Out Love chapters from Matt\u2019s POV, and then a final chapter from Julie set immediately after the end of the first book. Big, fat WIN!<\/p>\n

Just a note that if you haven\u2019t read Flat Out Love<\/i>, this will be a little spoilery. So stop reading this now, and GO PICK UP THAT BOOK!!!<\/b><\/p>\n

I loved getting a chance to see the relationship between Matt and Finn – best friends as well as brothers, I loved seeing how close they were and the special bond between them. Finn was so loving, protective and supportive of his younger brother and sister, and they both idolised him. And then the shift, seeing Matt try to hold his family together while dealing with his own grief, was heart wrenching! God, I want to hug that boy!<\/p>\n

And then the Julie chapters. The chapters that Park chose to give us from Matt\u2019s POV were perfect! They are the exact moments from Flat Out Love<\/i> that you want to get inside of his head! I loved watching Matt figure out his feelings for Julie, and was pleasantly surprised at the intensity of his emotions. He really had it rough, and again, my heart broke for him with how everything played out.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe wasn\u2019t falling for him. She was falling for Finn, a part of Matt that no longer fit into the real world\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The post Flat Out Love<\/i> chapter flicks back to Julie\u2019s POV and is gorgeous – lots of swoon and quite steamy!<\/p>\n

There is a lot of emotion in this little novella \u2013 possibly because we already know and love the characters, and are familiar with their situation, but still, Park does a great job with it. The wonderfully dry humour is also still there \u2013 including the awesome facebook statuses!<\/p>\n

\u201cThis status update is way too condescending. That means it\u2019s talking down to you, you may not have known that.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cEverything should be open 24 hours a day, all the time. I can\u2019t be expected to know in advance when I\u2019m going to need anything.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is a must-read for any Flat Out Love<\/i> fan. 5 stars, I loved it!<\/p>\n
