You\u2019re always guaranteed a good time when you pick up a Vi Keeland book. All Grown Up<\/i> is a fun, sweet, sexy older man\/younger woman romance with heaps of chemistry, a relatable heroine figuring her life out, and an absolutely irresistible hero.<\/p>\n

Valentina was a wife and mother by the time she was 18 years old. Now 37, divorced for three years and with a grown son in college, it\u2019s her<\/i> time -time to figure out what she wants, and to do all of the things she missed out on by taking on family responsibilities at such a young age. She\u2019s finding her way forward in her new life, and when her best friend declares that it\u2019s time for her to start dating again and signs her up for online dating, she reluctantly goes along with it.<\/p>\n

Ford Donovan is a 25 year old businessman who had to grow up way too soon. Following the death of his parents, he took on the role of caring for his teenage sister and took over the family business. He doesn\u2019t have time for dating and relationships, but when he stumbles across a dating app, he sees a profile that immediately captures his attention.<\/p>\n

Ford and Valentina begin flirting online and develop quite the connection before they even lay eyes on each other. It\u2019s fun and flirty, and I had the best time reading their interactions. But everything comes to a screeching halt when they meet in real life and Valentina recognises Ford as the son of her neighbour from her summer home in Montauk. Talk about awkward! He even used to babysit her own son! Dying of embarrassment, Valentina calls the whole thing off, only for the two of them to run into each other again at their respective summer homes, putting them right next door to each other for the summer.<\/p>\n

Ford grabs hold of the opportunity to spend more time with Valentina and wear her down, and it\u2019s such a fun ride as he flirts and seduces his way right into an \u2018arrangement\u2019 with her for the summer\u2026 let the fireworks begin!<\/p>\n

I fucking knew it would be like this. A physical attraction makes for intense chemistry, but a physical and mental connection is damn combustible. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is such a fun set-up. Ford is a man absolutely determined to win his girl, and he goes into battle against all of Valentina\u2019s hangups and concerns. He is sweet, understanding, patient and gentle with her, but he also pushes her boundaries, which is just what she needs, and the result is a steamy, chemistry-filled \u2018relationship\u2019 that very quickly becomes more than either of them were expecting.<\/p>\n

But what happens at the end of the summer? Can Valentina get past the differences between them? And are the two of them ready for a relationship and all that it entails? And what happens when Valentina\u2019s son finds out?<\/p>\n

This is a fun, easy read. I loved Ford and Valentina as characters, and I loved the chemistry between them. Their story is sweet, funny, sexy and heartfelt, and really enjoyable. And that epilogue is just sensational.<\/p>\n

The audiobook is narrated by Andie Arndt and Sebastian York, who play their roles perfectly, bringing life and so much heart to these characters. Definitely a book worth listening to!<\/p>\n
