This book follows on from The Two Week Arrangement<\/a>, where we saw new grad, Presley, get the internship of her dreams working for billionaire Dominic Aspen, and his chain of hotels. Their working relationship soon became clouded when Dominic needed a business \u2018date\u2019, and Presley stepped in, and then the lines became really blurry as they began to fall for each other. But it all ended horribly, leaving us with a nasty cliffhanger.<\/p>\n

Picking up right where the first book left off, Dom and Presley aren\u2019t in a good place, though their feeling for each other are still very much present. But the trust between them has been broken, and that is a difficult thing to overcome. I was so proud of Presley for trying to address their issues and move forward, but Dom has been burned before and is determined to protect his heart, and his twin girls, from being hurt again.<\/p>\n

But through business meetings, trips away, and unexpected encounters, the sexual tension and chemistry sizzles, and Dom and Presley find their physical attraction impossible to resist, and once again the sexy time is seriously steamy.<\/p>\n

\u201cPresley\u2019s warmth and softness and sweet scent envelope me until nothing else exists. Until she\u2019s my whole world.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And though there is a bit of back and forth, I could absolutely understand where both of them were coming from, and I really enjoyed watching their journey as they figure it all out and slowly find their way back to each other.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re more comfortable together, more in sync than we have been. What started out as a chemical thing\u2013a lustful attraction\u2013has given way to more, despite my best efforts.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I loved the inclusion of Dom\u2019s daughters, who are absolutely adorable, and the scenes with the four of them together are heart-meltingly gorgeous (especially because it allows us to see the softer side of the always-in-control CEO). And as much as I love Presley as a strong, sensible heroine, Dom was the real highlight of this book for me, and I loved watching him as a man reluctantly falling in love.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is love. Love is messy and imperfect. It isn\u2019t that you aren\u2019t capable of it. It\u2019s that you\u2019re overwhelmed by it.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sweet and sexy with a lot of heart, this is a great duet. I listened to them as audiobooks \u2013 wonderfully narrated by Andie Arndt and Jacob Morgan – and definitely recommend listening to these ones!<\/p>\n
