Another fantastically fun book from Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby! I love this series, full of laugh-out-loud humour, heart and sexy romance, and this book is so much fun!<\/p>\n

This is the fourth book in the Man Hands<\/i> series, and is the story of Meg (younger sister of Sadie from book #3), but the character crossover is minimal, and you can easily read this one as a standalone.<\/p>\n

Aspiring actress, Meg, is working as a waitress when she gets herself into an awkward situation. While attempting to \u2018assist\u2019 at a bachelorette party, she tries to literally rip the pants off the sexy stripper who walks into her restaurant dressed as a police officer… only to discover that he\u2019s not a stripper and actually is<\/i> a police officer. Whoops! It\u2019s one of those situations that you really want to just move on from and forget about, but when Meg moves into her new apartment a few short months later, guess who is living right next door? That\u2019s right! Hot cop, Mac, and she unexpectedly gets right up close and personal with him once again as she hears his nightly escapades and filthy dirty talk through their thin shared walls.<\/p>\n

Mac is a dedicated police officer who has been hurt badly by love. So, in the way of romance heroes everywhere, he has sworn off love and relationships and instead engages in no-strings fuckbuddy arrangements. It works for him, and keeps his life complication-free. And then a big complication moves in next door.<\/p>\n

Sparks fly between Meg and Mac from the very beginning. They are wildly attracted to each other, and they don\u2019t hide it, but Mac isn\u2019t prepared to start anything up with the woman living right next door\u2026 awkward! So amidst some light breaking and entering, plans about a fake date and other general shenanigans, they become friends\u2026 friends who flirt and who say inappropriate things, and it\u2019s so much fun watching them banter back and forth!<\/p>\n

I hear him moving about in his apartment. He sighs, and even that is sexy. It\u2019s a warm night, so naturally I hear him step outside to take in the breeze.
\n\u201cYou peeping over here at me, Copper?\u201d I call out.
\nHe peeks over the divider, all cute-like. \u201cThat depends. Are you topless?\u201d He asks this somewhat hopefully.<\/i><\/p>\n

I love Meg. She\u2019s smart, bright and bubbly, and she\u2019s so much fun. A little OTT perhaps, but in this kind of book that totally works, and I thought she was so freaking entertaining! And it\u2019s a wonderful mix with Mac, who is a bit more on the growly side, but has a wonderfully dry wit, and the two of them bounce off each other beautifully! I laughed so many times, their honesty and openness is fantastic, and I loved watching them fall for each other while Mac tried his best to keep Meg at arm\u2019s length\u2026. yeah, that was never going to last.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou make me crazy. You\u2019re a whole lot of trouble. You challenge me. You kick my ass. And I\u2019m so fucking hungry for you right now my cock is about to rip out of my pants.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sexy and so much fun, I laughed so many times throughout this book. Meg and Mac have a fantastic dynamic, and when their friends and family get involved it\u2019s even better. I loved watching things shift and change between them, and there is a bit of drama as they figure it all out, but it\u2019s done really well, working to build anticipation and excitement, and creating a heartfelt and romantic ending that made me swoon.<\/p>\n

I loved this book. It\u2019s a quick and easy read, and lots of fun. I\u2019m hopeful for more from this series, and excited at the possibility of more.<\/p>\n
