Gabriel Legend made his money through illegal fighting but he’s gone legit now and never wants to go back to where he was and what he did. To make a life for himself, he put all of his money into Legend, a club that was sure to be the talk of the town. And it was, just not in a positive way. Instead of bringing in the customers, a shooting on opening night has decimated his chances of succeeding. An empty club doesn’t bring in the money.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s where Scarlett comes in. As popular socialite, Legend wants her to work her magic to save his club. However, he didn\u2019t convince her through conventional ways and now that she’s agreed to help, he isn\u2019t prepared for all that she is.<\/p>\n

The Fall of Legend<\/i> is an addictive start to the Legend Trilogy<\/i><\/a> and gives us only a taste of what\u2019s to come. It\u2019s the best mix of mystery, seduction, danger, and feels, and I couldn\u2019t put it down.<\/p>\n

Legend is hiding from a violent past and it\u2019s only a matter of time before it catches up to him. He shoulders so much pain and regret and my heart broke for him. He wants to make things right and I love the alpha in him that guarantees vengeance. A good guy with a bad past, he has to protect the people he loves. He doesn\u2019t let new people in but something about Scarlett intrigues him. It\u2019s almost like she’s put a spell on him, making him break his own rules and he doesn\u2019t know why.<\/p>\n

This woman. <\/i>Goddammit. She\u2019s something else. She\u2019d have to be, because there\u2019s no other explanation for why the hell I\u2019m staring through a two-way mirror at her while I think about selling my soul to make her mine.
\nBut she\u00a0 <\/i>isn’t. She can’t be.
\nI don’t do connections. \u00a0I don’t let new people into my\u00a0<\/em>circle. It’s too risky. Too dangerous.
\n<\/i>After all, the last woman I loved ended up dead.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is a connection between Legend and Scarlett and try as they may to deny it, they fail miserably. I loved the intensity between them and the surprising feelings that start to grow. The push and pull only heightens the sexual tension and makes it impossible to resist one another.<\/p>\n

The man I\u2019m standing toe to toe with has his attention completely focused on me in a way that sends a charge through my body like someone plugged me into a wall socket. He is larger than life.
\n<\/i>And life is messy.
\nOr at least, the life I <\/i>want is messy.
\nEven if I only get to have that messy life for a single night, I\u2019m taking it.
\nTonight, all bets are off. Tonight, I\u2019m going to <\/i>live. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Scarlett\u2019s life isn\u2019t perfect and she has a lot of internal struggles to work through. Her growth throughout this first book is well written and though she is vulnerable at times she has a backbone and takes charge of her life. I love that she knows what she wants and isn\u2019t afraid to go after it.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve heard him laugh. I\u2019ve seen him smile. I\u2019ve tasted his lips.
\nAnd I want more.
\nThat\u2019s the only thing I\u2019m completely certain about right now.
\nMore Gabriel Legend is the only cure for whatever is happening to me. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And just as things seem to be falling into place, there is a cliffy that leaves us crushed.<\/p>\n

Overall, The Fall of Legend<\/i> is a strong start to the trilogy. I loved getting sucked into Legend and Scarlett\u2019s world. The dangers are real, the mystery is intriguing, the sexy time is hot, and the emotions are intense. And this just the first third of their story, leaving us thirty for more!! House of Scarlett<\/i> and The Fight for Forever<\/i> are coming soon, and I can\u2019t wait!!<\/p>\n
