The moment I met Stevie in A Lie for a Lie<\/i><\/a>, featuring her brother Rook, I knew I would love her story, and A Favor for a Favor<\/i> did not disappoint! When Stevie walks in on her boyfriend cheating, on her birthday no less, she heads to her brother\u2019s extra apartment to pick up the pieces of her heart. She is a mess and when she meets her brother’s neighbor, she is not impressed by his rude comments and the way he seems to hate her on sight.<\/p>\n

They start things off on the wrong foot but when Bishop is injured on the ice, she realizes that they may be able to help each other out. She is a physiotherapist and if she can work on his injury and get him on the ice sooner, he can give her a glowing recommendation to help gain higher profile clients. A favor for a favor, it seems like a perfect plan.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0Favor for a Favor<\/i> is an entertaining, hilarious, enemies-to-lovers sports romance that is easy to read and easy to love. The storyline is original and the characters are wonderful.\u00a0Stevie is feisty and sassy, and has such a fun personality. She also has a backbone and can hold her own, making me love her even more. Bishop is working his butt off on the ice and he has a lot to lose if he doesn\u2019t heal up quickly. He is a total jerk in the beginning but I understood where he was coming from once I learned why he was so upset when Stevie moved into Rook\u2019s place.<\/p>\n

From the beginning, even when they didn’t like one another, the attraction was there. The sexual tension skyrockets when Stevie starts helping Bishop with his physiotherapy. There are a lot of hands on moments during their sessions and Bishop\u2019s response to being so close to Stevie is hilarious.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019d think you\u2019d never seen a set of bare legs before.\u201d She helps me lower myself into the tub and steps out.
\n\u201cIt\u2019s been a long time since I\u2019ve seen a pair up close,\u201d I grumble.
\n\u201cSuch a surprise, with your warm, fuzzy personality.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is also the fact that Stevie is the sister of Bishop\u2019s teammate and he is now her client, both of which add to the forbidden aspect to the story, giving us a little more intensity between the two of them when they are together.<\/p>\n

The progression of their relationship felt real, and though it starts off with a lot of hostility, Stevie and Bishop are a hoot. I was literally laughing out loud throughout the whole book. The banter is awesome and they both give as good as they get.<\/p>\n

When Bishop decides to make his move it\u2019s exhilarating and intense! They bring on the heat but still have a fun side when they start to get serious.<\/p>\n

\u201cI better not have the energy to do anything but sleep after you\u2019re done with me.\u201d
\nI push up on my arms so I can meet her hot, needy gaze. \u201cIs that a challenge?\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Things are right on track when they hit a bump in the road that may be too hard to overcome. Thankfully, the drama isn\u2019t over the top or drawn out too long so Stevie and Bishop can have the happily ever after they deserve!!<\/p>\n

I really enjoyed\u00a0A\u00a0Favor for a Favor\u00a0<\/i>and am excited for A Secret for a Secret<\/em>,\u00a0the next book in the series. Ryan Kingston, AKA King, is coming in May!<\/p>\n
