Book three in The Rising<\/i> series, and we are well into the thick of things now! In the land of Triton the Beast is getting closer to rising, there are political and religious shenanigans unfolding everywhere, and the four couples prophesised to save the day are all getting closer to their big moment (if you want more details than that, see my review<\/a> of book #1).<\/p>\n

The last book in the series left off on a nasty cliffhanger, and this book picks up shortly after all hell broke loose in those final moments. Our characters are reeling, and the decision is made to return to their homes to deal with rising tensions and prepare for the battles to come.<\/p>\n

But what about the romance? Well, our four couples are all officially together and in various stages of falling in love. It\u2019s not all easy and they each have their challenges, but they are learning to be together, opening up to each other and taking each other\u2019s backs, and I love seeing them find their way. And of course, they are all about exploring their physical connections, and the sexy time is steamy as always!<\/p>\n
