This is such a gorgeous story! A billionaire romance with a difference, with a fantastic love story and a hero that made me fall hard. This book is so much fun, and I loved it!<\/p>\n

Alice is a bartender\/waitress who is struggling to figure out her place in the world, when the hot new busboy at work starts flirting with her. Beck is a sexy, funny and witty guy who quotes Austen and who pretty much sweeps Alice off her feet with his unique friendship, flirtation and banter. So, when he has a family emergency and it is revealed that he\u2019s not the poor, free-spirited wanderer that she is starting to fall for, but in fact a billionaire from one of the wealthiest families in Colorado, she accompanies him back home and finds herself in a whole new world.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou want to be with me and I want to be with you. Enough excuses. Take the leap Alice. Promise I won\u2019t let you fall.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s a great set-up that plays out so well as Alice is introduced to Beck\u2019s dysfunctional yet hilarious family, and finds herself struggling to adjust to a world that she never even imagined being a part of.<\/p>\n

\nBeck winces. \u201cYeah, but\u2026how do I put this? You\u2019re wrong.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And in the middle of it all we have this beautiful and hilarious relationship unfolding. Beck and Alice are playful and fun with sizzling chemistry, and I loved their banter and teasing as much as I loved the swoony and sincere emotion that is part of each and every moment between them. They are perfect together, and even though it\u2019s fast moving, I felt it all along with them, and it all just feels so right<\/i> as they give in and just let themselves fall.<\/p>\n

Alice is a fantastic heroine. Smart, sensible and funny, she is brave enough to follow her heart, but also strong enough to stand up for herself and not allow herself to be walked all over. She is so well written as a \u2018normal\u2019 girl, relatable and no-nonsense, and I just loved her.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s my fairy-tale prince and I have no idea if I deserve him or not, but I\u2019m keeping him.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And Beck! I freaking love Beck! He has a big heart, a fantastic sense of humour and fun and a hilarious playful streak. But he\u2019s also deeply emotional and a bit vulnerable under his cocky fa\u00e7ade. If you\u2019ve read Kylie\u2019s Stage Dive<\/i> series, Beck kind of reminded me of Mal, though not as extreme. He has all of these wonderful qualities, and on top of it all he is sexy as all hell and so much fun, and I loved him so much!<\/p>\n

\u201cThe next question is, why are you trying to rush things between us?\u201d
\n\u201cPerhaps I\u2019m just interested in what\u2019s in your pants.\u201d
\n\u201cWhy didn\u2019t you say so earlier? I\u2019d be delighted to send you a dick pic.\u201d He passes me a beer with a grin. \u201cDad always said to ensure our digital footprint was a light and legal as possible. But what with me having missed your last twenty-two birthdays, a nicely lit shot of my junk is the least I can do. I\u2019ll even pick out an arty filter for you.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The two of them together are an absolute powerhouse, and I love their sense of fun, their fantastic chemistry and the insane sexual tension between them. And they are so functional! Of course, they have issues, but they talk about it, they work through it, and they don\u2019t hide from the fact that they are committed and they want to make things work between them, and I love that!<\/p>\n

\u201cYou look at me like that, beloved, and I have nothing.\u201d

\n\u201cNo, Alice. You\u2019ve got me. The good and the bad and everything in between.\u201d His lips brush against my earlobe, his breath warm. \u201cDon\u2019t let me go, okay?\u201d

It all unfolds in the middle of Beck\u2019s family\u2019s drama, and there are some fantastic dynamics at play there. They are a dysfunctional but highly entertaining bunch, and I loved the scenes with all of them together. I\u2019m hoping that this book becomes a series and we get books for his siblings, because there are some fantastic stories to be told there and I would love to read more!<\/p>\n

There is some drama, but it\u2019s handled well and ties in really nicely with Beck and Alice\u2019s journey, and though I felt that the ending came a bit abruptly, I really loved this one.<\/p>\n
