Review<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This was a gorgeous read! And it was gorgeous for one reason \u2013 Cameron Hamilton! OMG! He is pure, NA, good guy awesomeness! I\u2019m a big fan of the bad boys, but it\u2019s nice to fall for a good guy every now and again too.<\/p>\n

And he is the perfect guy for Avery. Shy, quiet, and anxious due to a trauma in her past, she has just moved away from home to start College, and she literally runs into Cam on her first day. They exchange some flirty banter, and although she appreciates his insane hotness, she is completely freaked out, and he is instantly smitten.<\/p>\n

And so begins a sensational relationship. Cam is an ex-party playboy and the campus hottie. He is honest, confident, funny, sweet and charmingly cocky. He knows he wants Avery from the very beginning, and he isn\u2019t shy about letting her know it. I love that he is so persistent in trying to get her to go out with him, but he never pressures her, and the flirty banter is brilliant!<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, to be honest, I was planning to woo you with my banana nut bread, but that shit ain\u2019t happening now. So all I have left is my delicious eggs.\u201d
\n\u2026 \u201cIt\u2019s really good, but you\u2019re not wooing me.\u201d
\n\u201cOh, I\u2019m wooing \u2026 It\u2019s all about the stealth. You don\u2019t realize it yet.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Even though Avery resists him, there is great chemistry between them and I loved every moment of them together. They form a very special friendship, which slowly (and realistically) develops into more as Avery starts to open up and let Cam in. And the whole time, he is gentle and caring with her, and incredibly protective \u2013 he even calls her \u201csweetheart<\/i>\u201d *dreamy sigh*. They share a lot of special moments, and when she finally gives into the intensity between them and lets it all happen, Cam\u2019s ultra swoony side comes out and it\u2019s absolutely magic.<\/p>\n

His chin grazed the top of my head and then his lips brushed across my forehead.
\n\u201cI\u2019m not going anywhere,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ll be right here when you wake up, sweetheart. I promise.\u201d <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And this\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile the idea of taking you right now, against the wall, is enough to make me lose control, I want you to know that I\u2019m serious. You\u2019re not a hook up. You\u2019re not a friend with benefits. You\u2019re more than that to me.\u201d
\nI closed my eyes, breathing heavily. \u201cWell, that was\u2026really sort of perfect.\u201d
\n\u201cI\u2019m really sort of perfect \u2026 Everyone else knows that. You\u2019re just a little slow on the uptake.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And the way he says goodnight *shiver*.<\/p>\n

But, of course, there are dramas. Avery\u2019s past being the major issue. There are enough hints dropped throughout the story to let you know what happened to her when she was 14 and all of the associated fall out, so by the time the \u2018big reveal\u2019 came, it\u2019s a bit of a non event. But it\u2019s still a huge turning point in the story for Avery, and it is really tragic, and explains why she is the way she is. But a big part of this story is letting go of the past, and moving on, and that clearly happens for Avery as having Cam in her life helps her to heal and start living life again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn’t know what to say, but my heart was racing as he slid his hands down to mine. He placed them on his chest, right above his heart. “I have hope,” he said, his gaze never leaving mine. “I have hope because I love you – I’ve been in love with you, Avery. Probably before I even realized that I was.”
\n“You loved me?”
\nCam dropped his forehead to mine and his chest rose sharply under my hands. “I love you.”
\nMy heart stuttered. “You <\/i>love me?”
\n“Yes, sweetheart.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Also helping her on her way are her friends, brilliantly hilarious Jacob and Brittany. These two had me in hysterics pretty much every time they appeared. I absolutely adored them both.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t have to want to be in a relationship for a little bow-chicka-bow-wow.\u201d
\nBrittany looked at him slowly. \u201cDid you really just say that?\u201d
\n\u201cI did. And I owned it. Gonna make me a shirt that says that.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cHe should want to be in a relationship with me! I\u2019m friggin\u2019 awesome.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cAre you done dressing me like I\u2019m your own personal Barbie?\u201d<\/em>
\n \u201cBitch, if you were my Barbie, you\u2019d be half naked.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I really enjoyed this book. It\u2019s sweet and funny, and oh so swoony (oh, and there\u2019s a bit of steaminess).<\/p>\n

\u201cTell me what you want, sweetheart … Anything. And I’ll do it.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The drama does drag on a bit, but Cam was enough to pull me through the bad times, and then it\u2019s all worth it for the swoony HEA.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want you, Cam.\u201d
\n\u201cYou have me,\u201d he groaned. \u201cYou so fucking have me.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
