God, I hate her. Honestly, there is not one redeeming quality about her, and I could not care less about her ‘woe is me, nobody loves me, I’m all alone’ problems. Wake up bitch! Nobody loves you because you’re a nasty, selfish a-hole in need of a hard smack! Ugh! Anyway, moving on… Rush is still protective of his baby sister, and conflict arises as he struggles to find a balance between his habit of running after Nan, and the needs of his new family. The angst is minor though, as we are never in doubt about what the outcome will be, and it’s all resolved fairly quickly, and from then on it’s all a massive swoonfest.

Rush and Blaire are absolutely gorgeous together. Not only are they incredibly hot and steamy (Rush and that dirty mouth of his… damn!), but they genuinely love and respect each other, and I could feel the emotion between them. And the swoon in this book is off the freaking charts! Rush Finlay is one of THE most romantic book heroes ever! He is so protective of Blaire, and he absolutely blew me away with his swoony talk and gestures – both small and grand – and I spent a good portion of the book in a puddle of blissed-out goo on the floor!

“I never imagined anyone like you, Blaire. But every time I think about forever with you, I’m humbled that you chose me.”

And not only do we get to see Rush and Blaire’s HEA, but we get to see them live it for a little while, and those little moments between them are absolutely gorgeous!

For those that have read the first two books and want to know exactly what we see in this book…

Spoiler

Yes, we get to see the wedding, and it’s absolutely perfect! – complete with a song written and sung by Rush that is downloadable on iTunes. Win! And yes, we get to see the baby born, and it actually made me a little weepy *sniff*

“Nothing in life was as precious as this woman. It never would be. I’d found my happiness.”

There’s a bit of family time with Rush’s famous rock star father, Dean, making a few appearances – I loved him 🙂 As well as more secrets revealed about Blaire’s family. Seriously, the family trees of this group are so all over the place and intertwined, it’s a little crazy!

Tying in beautifully with the spin offs to this series, there’s a glimpse into more of Woods and Della’s story – which is all unfolding during the same time period as this book, and actually goes into events which I’m sure we’ll see in more detail in their next book. And Grant proves that he’s just a big a man-whore as his step-brother – with a dirty mouth to match – when we get some awesome Grant POV as he meets his future love interest, Harlow (the newly discovered sister of Nan), who I think will be a really interesting match for him.

I love Rush and Blaire’s story, and can’t wait for more from this fantastic group of characters!

4.5 swoontastic stars.

For full series info, see our Rosemary Beach series page.

Buy: Kindle Ebook | Paperback Review What a sensational finish to Rush and Blaire’s story!
