I loved this book. It is a twist on the mistaken identity, blind date trope and it is fantastic. Elena is nursing a broken heart but agrees to go on a blind date with the town weatherman. When she meets him she thinks she will have a nice meal and get on with her life. She never imagined she would go home with him and spend the best night of her life with a stranger. The next morning, she is in for a surprise when it turns out the guy she met is the wrong guy all together. But maybe the wrong guy is actually Mr. Right.<\/p>\n

Jack is the quarterback for Nashville\u2019s football team and he is laying low after his life was torn apart by his ex. When he meets Elena, he thinks she\u2019s after a story but when he discovers she is far from what he expected he can\u2019t get her off his mind.<\/p>\n

I feel a brush of excitement rising inside me, gently at first, then all at once, flooding my senses. No. Freaking. Clue. She doesn\u2019t know me! I want to hug her. Maybe take that cat. Kidding.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I loved these characters. Elena is adorable. She smart, and sweet but has a naughty, sexy side. I loved that she indulged in her passion. Jack is the total opposite of what you would thing a sports star would be. Though he is popular, charming, and smoking hot, he\u2019s also sweet, shy, and doesn\u2019t actually like being in the spotlight all of which are things I really liked about him.<\/p>\n

Jack and Elena think they can have fun and keep things casual but it\u2019s clear that something real is brewing between them. Something neither want to acknowledge.<\/p>\n

Kissing him is like holding an exploding star, hot and vibrant and lethal\u2014and I want it.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Their relationship has its ups and downs and it\u2019s not without some drama but I get like none of it was over the top. They are thrown together in surprise ways and it allows them time to build a friendship and really open up with each other. I loved seeing their love bloom and the growing emotion between them. They are just so sweet together. And you can\u2019t forget the dirty talking sexy time which is HOT!<\/p>\n

Being together is not easy at times but I loved the character growth and when they realize just what matters and what is real. I felt the trust and love better them and I am glad the angst wasn\u2019t drawn out.<\/p>\n

This story has the perfect mix of light and heavy moments. It\u2019s funny and sweet and I couldn\u2019t help but love them both. They secondary characters are also fantastic and I do want more of them.<\/p>\n

Not My Romeo<\/i> is a fun, fresh contemporary romance, and the perfect story for Elena and Jack. I loved it!!<\/p>\n
