Review<\/b><\/h4>\n

4 short and fun stars!<\/b><\/p>\n

This is a quick, fun little NA read. Romantic and laugh-out-loud funny, it\u2019s 58 pages of pure entertainment, and I really enjoyed it.<\/p>\n

This novella is technically #2.5 in the Tempt<\/i> series \u2013 it\u2019s the story of John, who is roommates with Austin and Noah in college (Austin and Noah are the heroes from books 1 & 2 in the Tempt<\/i> series, and John appears as a side character in their books). I freaking loved getting to see these guys again, especially in their younger years, but as this novella takes place way before we meet them in the full-length books, this one can absolutely be read as a standalone.<\/p>\n

John and Dani have just broken up and both of them are miserable about it. Dani dumped her boyfriend after listening to her roommate go on and on about how college should be her wild years and she\u2019s too young to be tied down. Yeah, I know, it\u2019s kinda weak and I was worried I\u2019d be annoyed at Dani for dumping John over something so stupid, but just go with it, because John is not prepared to walk away, and neither is Dani, and it\u2019s all resolved really quickly, and watching him go about winning back his girl is hilarious \u2013 especially when his roommates come on board to \u2018help\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe eat on that fucking table. There are rules, Noah, like no banging unless it\u2019s in your room or the shower.\u201d
\n\u201cJohn banged Dani on the couch last week.\u201d He points at me. \u201cI watched.\u201d He smiles. \u201cYou did good, grasshopper,\u201d he says as he raises his hand for a high-five.
\n\u201cYou fucking watched?\u201d I yell at him.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s a really quick read, but it\u2019s so much fun and made me laugh out loud so many times. I loved seeing these boys together again, and it\u2019s got me all excited for yet another reread of this series that I love so much.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s her,\u201d I say quietly. \u201cFrom the moment I met her, it was like my world was knocked into place.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I loved it \u2013 4 stars<\/p>\n
