The characters in this book are friends with the characters in the first book \u2013 the deeply fabulous\u00a0So, That Got Weird<\/a> \u2013 but this one can easily stand alone.<\/p>\n Michelle is over men. Her heart has been broken too many times, and she\u2019s taking some time for herself to relax and get her head straight. She\u2019s staying at her friend Elizabeth\u2019s lake house for a week, and she\u2019s enjoying her first moments of peace when the last man who broke her heart comes barging in on her in the bathtub.<\/p>\n Drew is newly signed to the NFL and is struggling to get used to the public\u2019s interest in his private life. He needs to get away from it all for a bit, so his buddy, Austin, has arranged for him to stay at Elizabeth\u2019s lake house. The last thing he wants is company \u2013 especially with the girl who so callously used him \u2013 so he\u2019s furious when he finds her crashing at his remote getaway.<\/p>\n Neither of them wants anything to do with the other, but a brutal summer storm traps them together for a week. And all of that anger doesn\u2019t hide their mad lust for each other.<\/p>\n Princess is a real piece of work, but I would hate-fuck the shit out of that woman.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n It\u2019s a messed-up situation, and before their time is up, truths from their past will be revealed, and they will discover that not all is as it seems. But is it just sexual attraction between them? Or can they overcome the mistakes they made and find a way back to each other?<\/p>\n Holding me against his hard body, he kisses me with months of regret, days of longing and hours of desire. He kisses me like I\u2019m precious and protected. <\/i>Like he loves me.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n This is a really cute story. Even in such a short read, Kingston manages to bring the emotion, and I could feel everything between Michelle and Drew \u2013 the hurt, the animosity, the feels, and of course their wild chemistry.
