But if, like me, you\u2019re a mad Halle fan, then you will love revisiting these worlds and the characters that we love so much!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n HOLIDAY NOVELLAS<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n A Christmas Cartel<\/b> This is a fun little take on A Christmas Carol<\/i> as drug lord and Cartel king, Javier Bernal travels away with his family for Christmas, and gets visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, who show him a very unpleasant vision of himself. It\u2019s brutal, but gives him the push he needs to step up and be a better husband and father to his wife and their young son.<\/p>\n Dark and gritty, but still romantic and sweet, this is a really cute read.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Off-Season This is a fun little bonus, where we get to see the Real Madrid boys and their girls from Karina\u2019s sports romances come together for Luciano and Ruby\u2019s (from The One that Got Away<\/i>) wedding. It\u2019s a quick read, but a wonderful chance to catch up with Matteo and Vera, seeing them so very hot for each other and still so much in love.<\/p>\n \u201cLove can bring you to your knees.\u00a0 When your heart decides on what it wants, nothing can stop it.\u00a0 Nothing.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n Arrow Through the Heart This is a sweet but emotional story, where we get to revisit the tragedy of Lachlan\u2019s past and see his wife, Kayla, try to give him a wonderful birthday by inviting his entire family to Scotland for a surprise visit. I loved seeing this group all together (kids in tow), and getting a glimpse into where they are all at. But when Lachlan\u2019s estranged mother shows up, it brings all sorts of demons to the surface for him, allowing Kayla to shine as she goes all out to show her man just how much he is loved.<\/p>\n The way her heart connects to mine is nothing short of a miracle, and the way she stands behind me, beside me, in front of me, all to support me every way she can is remarkable. Sweet, sexy, dramatic and emotional, this was a gorgeous little revisit to my favourite couple from the McGregor series. I loved seeing them still together, strong and so very much in love.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ghosted Ohhh, I loved this! Being back in the EIT world is what I was most excited about from this anthology, and this story is written entirely from Dex\u2019s POV, which means the whole thing is just gold!<\/p>\n I cannot express my love for this man. Hilariously sarcastic and crude, confident yet emotionally vulnerable, and madly in love with his now-wife, Perry, being back in his unique perspective was just amazing!<\/p>\n This appears to be the beginning of the story that will be told in Came Back Haunted<\/em>, and I am already hooked! Scary and exciting, and already all kinds of sexy, I can\u2019t wait for more!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A Nordic New Year This is a fun little story where we get to see Prince Magnus of Norway bring all of the Nordic royals together for a child-free couple of nights to celebrate the new year and cut loose where nobody can see them. Alcohol and complete freedom brings about lots of unexpected fun (King Aksel twerking) and sexy times.<\/p>\n Great to catch up with these couples and get a brief look into their lives.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ADDITIONAL SHORT STORIES <\/p>\n Dark Paradise A woman who feels she has nothing to live for is saved by Esteban Mendoza while in Hawaii. He proceeds to show her that life still has meaning, and just how much living she still has to do.<\/p>\n \u201cSometimes people come into our lives for just a second, just long enough to let us know that hope exists.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Sweet, sexy and exciting.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Defying the Dust A short story which shows us the first meeting of Camden and Ellie. 13-year-old Camden is fighting to be true to himself and show his individuality in his backwards town, and he\u2019s used to being completely alone\u2026 until Ellie moves to town.<\/p>\n \u201cI may be a weirdo, Ellie Watt, but from now on I\u2019m your weirdo. You and I, we need to stick together. No one else understands us.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n That 70\u2019s Interview Interview transcripts \u2013 A very surly Sage being interviewed by a radio station, and Dawn interviewing tour manager, Jacob.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Target Set in the middle of the EIT series, when Perry has moved in with a very smitten Dex, the two of them go on an unfortunate shopping trip to the \u201cfluorescent showroom of death\u201d, Target.<\/p>\n Hilarious!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Baby This one is so cute! The moments leading up to (and including) the birth of Linden and Stephanie\u2019s first baby.<\/p>\n I know that everything in my life was leading up to this moment. This right here, all of this, is what life is all about, what it\u2019s always been about. And I never knew it until now.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Told with feels, humour, and a little bit of sexy time, this story left me with a huge grin on my face.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A Wedding Set in the Stars The wedding of Vera and Matteo, and OMG, what a swoonfest!<\/p>\n \u201cMrs. Casalles,\u201d he whispers to me, lips at my ear. \u201cI will love you my Estrella, until the sun burns out and we are the only two left in the sky. And I will love you beyond that.
