The final book in the Mercury Pack<\/i> series, this is the long-awaited story for Eli, and like the previous books in the series, it\u2019s exciting and super sexy with a fantastically functional romance, drama and action all set within a shifter world that I love, and I loved this book.<\/p>\n

Eli is the younger brother of Mercury Park alpha, Nick. Over the course of the series, he has watched his pack-mates finds their mates and get their HEAs, and he longs to find the one that is meant for him. Casey is a new-to-the-series mink shifter who is bold, feisty and a total badass. She\u2019s fighting in an underground shifter fight club one night when she is threatened by a rival alpha shifter. Eli comes to her defence, and from the moment they lock eyes on each other, it\u2019s done. They recognise each other as true mates, they give in to the supernatural bond that literally burns between them, and they are all in from that moment. It\u2019s hot, steamy, and super satisfying to see them not fight it, and I was in a world of happiness to see them come together so quickly and easily, ready for the ride ahead.<\/p>\n

I love that they are immediately together with no romantic drama, and we get to know Eli and Casey both as characters through their relationship. We see them get to know each other, be introduced into each other\u2019s worlds, and fall in mad love, and I was right on board for every moment of it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going to say you\u2019re perfect\u2014nobody is. But you\u2019re, like, imperfectly perfect, and you\u2019re perfect for me.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But while true love may run smoothly for Eli and Casey, they are facing a lot of drama outside of their relationship. They, and the rest of the pack, are being targeted by a sadistic alpha with a point to prove, which leads to lots of tension, action and excitement. And Casey is dealing with drama within her own pack \u2013 and can I just say that I love the idea of mink shifters! It\u2019s not something I\u2019ve come across in other paranormal books, and the mannerisms and characteristics of the minks was a really entertaining part of the book.<\/p>\n

Of course, the rest of the Mercury Pack is a big part of the story, taking Eli and Casey\u2019s backs, and I loved catching up with them and watching them welcome Casey to their family. We also get to see members of the Phoenix Pack<\/a>, which I was hoping for given the tight relationship between the two series. And there is a glorious epilogue at the end of the book, set eight years into the future, which gives us a great finish as we see these much-loved characters with families of their own, and see all of those wonderful dynamics at play in the future.<\/p>\n

I have loved this series so much. This is a great book to end the series on, with a gorgeously swoony, sexy romance, lots of action, and great closure for the series. I finished this book feeling so satisfied, and I loved it!<\/p>\n
