Omg, I love love love this book. Friends-to-lovers is one of my favorite tropes and Best Friends Don\u2019t Kiss<\/i> checks all the boxes. It\u2019s sweet, sexy, romantic, and the perfect amount of crazy fun. I went back and forth from laughing to swooning as I was swept up in Luke and Ava\u2019s love story.<\/p>\n

Luke and Ava have been best friends since freshman year of college. When Ava gets an invitation to her fifteenth high school reunion, she gets herself into a bind when she says she will bring her boyfriend. The boyfriend she doesn\u2019t have. So, Luke steps in to play the best boyfriend ever, only the more they pretend to be more than just friends, the more everything begins to feel real.<\/p>\n

Ava and Luke are fantastic together because their friendship is real. They know each other inside and out and are each other\u2019s number one fan. Ava is hilarious and while Luke is so much fun, too, he mellows her crazy and they just work so well together.<\/p>\n

The progression from friends to lovers is natural and believable. From the beginning, I was rooting hard for this duo. I felt their connection and enjoyed the sexual tension that came with them spending even more time than usual together, especially while sharing a room in her childhood house. Though it took them a while to realize their feelings, when they do, I was giddy!<\/p>\n

He kisses me in the kind of way I\u2019ve always dreamed of being kissed. Slow and delicate at first, then spreading like wildfire into something that smokes with passion and heat.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There\u2019s a little bit of angst but nothing that is over the top for these two which is really refreshing. It adds a little bit of conflict and I couldn\u2019t wait to see Ava and Luke get their happily ever after. And that epilogue?! It\u2019s the icing on the cake. I loved it! It\u2019s everything I wanted and more, and I can rest easy knowing these two are living their dream!!<\/p>\n

I have to mention the secondary characters. I adored Ava\u2019s family and I loved that we get more than just cameos from some of my favorite billionaires. They add so much fun to the story and I can\u2019t seem to get enough of them.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t miss Best Friends Don\u2019t Kiss<\/i>, it\u2019s the newest rom com hit from Max Monroe and a 2020 favorite!!<\/p>\n
