I love this world so much, and was beyond thrilled when I learned that K.A. Tucker was revisiting Calla and Jonah with a Christmas novella, and it was everything I wanted!<\/p>\n

This book is definitely not a standalone, and should be read after The Simple Wild<\/a> and Wild at Heart<\/a>.\u00a0 And beware this review will contain some spoilers for earlier books in the series.<\/p>\n

Calla and Jonah are settled in the small town of Trapper\u2019s Crossing, Alaska, happily in love and preparing for their families to arrive for the holidays. It\u2019s a busy time, with just as much stress as there is excitement, but it\u2019s going to be a Christmas like no other.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to get married right here, right now. In Alaska, where I met you, where I fell in love with you, where I\u2019m building a life with you.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I freaking love these two. I loved seeing them still so loved-up and passionate for each other. They still tease and banter, they\u2019re blissfully functional, and there\u2019s a beautiful chemistry between them that makes them a joy to read.<\/p>\n

Characters that we have come to know and love in this series appear, and there is some drama to deal with, but it works to build the story and create a fantastic little read that I just adored. Roy\u2019s story in particular was a real highlight (I love that grumpy old bugger).<\/p>\n

It was the ending that I didn\u2019t know I needed for Calla and Jonah, and even though I was so very satisfied with how it finished, I would have loved it to be longer because I wanted more and wasn\u2019t ready to let go.<\/p>\n

I am so freaking excited that KA Tucker is going to continue on in this world with books for other characters, and I can\u2019t wait for more.<\/p>\n

So much love for these characters, I loved this one! 5 stars!<\/p>\n
