I love books about fake relationships and this one did not disappoint. It\u2019s business partners turned best friends turned fake husband and wife turned lovers, and I adored it. It\u2019s sexy, swoony, and full of heart, and I was invested from the start, unable to wait to see how the story unfolded.<\/p>\n

Do we have to draw a line between fantasy and reality? Or for one glorious week, can we exist in this blurred world?<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Scarlett\u2019s life was turned upside down when she is blindsided by her husband\u2019s lies. Now, she\u2019s been all work and no play for the last three years.\u00a0However, that hasn\u2019t stopped her from noticing how amazing and attractive Daniel, her business partner and best friend is. All they\u2019ve ever been is friends though because they don\u2019t want to ruin their professional relationship or the wonderful friendship they have found together.<\/p>\n

Why not have a little fun while they check out the hotels? And fun they have!! Whoa! Daniel and Scarlett really know how to turn up the heat. There is some serious steam between them once they allow themselves to play the role of husband and wife. It\u2019s all kinds of naughty and dirty, and they let go and open up like never before.<\/p>\n

Pretending collides with reality and there is no denying that they are meant to be. Their connection is believable and the electricity between them is palpable. Everything feels real and I was giddy every time I saw how perfect they are for each other.<\/p>\n

Scarlett and Daniel\u2019s story is more emotional than I was expecting. The feelings and heartbreak are real, and the healing and love are bright.\u00a0 I felt the fear of messing up their friendship and business relationship as well as the drive to go for it, and I love that they knew when to take the risk.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you know what it\u2019s like to finally have you?…It\u2019s like I\u2019m finally having everything I want. And it feels like a frenzied, fevered dream.\u201d <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Blakely has taken a popular trope and made it her own. It\u2019s original and so much fun! I loved it!<\/p>\n
